Very relaxed, great pub and restaurant. Nice walk to Mendips

Facilities are a bit rundown

Lovely place access made easy with an email no fuss knew where we need to go where the water was before getting there

Pub and staff where friendly and more then helpful

Was quiet site friendly staff in Pub and welcoming!

Phone signal was poor ok in pub with Wi-Fi but didn’t reach camping area!

The food in the pub was good ,toilets and showers ok .

The pitches were very scruffy,stinging nettles everywhere weeds all over grown . We didn’t see anyone from the camping side of things all the time we were there , other people had said that also . Very poor and not inviting at all ,won’t be going back

Nothing to disliked

Lovely setting and very convenient amenities.

Toilet and wash room facilities could do with modernisation and I could see any recycling bins.

Beautiful quiet little camp site. Lots of little trees scattered around which made it more private. Toilets were clean and 2x showers were nice and warm. There's a washing up area to wash pots and pans etc .. and chemical/waste disposal toilet to empty liquids from drums. The site is all grass, so may be tricky to travel to your allocated plot. But theres a large car park where we could have parked if we couldn't drive to the plot. This car park is owned by the campsite and extremely close to the plots. We visited Welland steam rally which was only 20mins walk.

Very close to the road which can be noisy with vehicles while in a tent. But we are not fussy and it didn't disturb us. Luckily the road is quiet. The showers were lovely and warm though there's no fan/vent for the steam to escape, so trying to get our clothes back was tricky. But we didn't mind.

Good location

Unsupervised dogs, very loud music from restaurant after it had closed for the evening, no hot washing up water. I could go on…

Nice setting, quite with little passing traffic at night. Central for what we had organised in the area.

Unfortunately we were subjected to noisy neighbour on first evening with no regard to rules or others, but this can happen on any campsite. . As the Marlbank is an Indian restaurant only open 4pm until 11pm, there was little we could do at the time. Also in rules is no unnecessary movement on grass to prevent getting stuck. Not previously headed as positioning our tent to avoid these holes was tricky.
Access to a freezer for cold packs would improve facilities score

Brilliant location with onsite pub & excellent Indian food served ! Staff very helpful & friendly. Clean toilets shower block regularly cleaned. Loved the pitch allocation via email before check in so you can make your self at home straight away.

Only downside is looks like the site could do with minor refurbishment electric hook up was temporarily fixed while we were there, bathroom locks needed replacing bathroom door handle was some string.
