Hi Angela, thanks for the review. We fully accept our shop only sells basic items (cans of pop, ice-creams, marshmallows, head ache tablets, suncream, uht milk etc) we understand no-one wants pot noodle for breakfast and dinner lol. In regards to the "pool", we are unfortunately limited by pitchups available options (outdoor swimming lake is not an option to select), and in an ideal world we would add more information about our site to the description, but once again we are limited by pitchup, and they only allow a certain amount of characters to describe our site.
We thank you for acknowledging the team and the cleanliness of the facilities, we do indeed class ourselves as a "nearly wild campsite" so you were pretty spot on with your "back to nature" description. But more importantly: we're glad you enjoyed yourselves and would consider returning in the future.

We were well looked after and we had everything we needed,
The land was well looked after and the meadow in the middle was great and made the site look private, we stayed in the forest and the pitch was a great size, it was very easy to get the wood bought from the reception, Chris and Richard were available from 8am till 8pm, always on hand to help with anything.
Round the open water swimming pool were two life jackets which made our 7 year old feel safe to get in the water on the paddle board which was just there for anyone to use! That made our open water swimming great fun!
We spent two days fishing by the lake and it was a great session which some big and not so big catches!不喜欢： –

My only regret is not going back sooner. These guys tick all of the boxes, immaculate facilities, little shop onsite for basic necessities, very reasonably priced activities (my little one loved the quad bike once he'd found his confidence) staff incredibly helpful and friendly. Just amazing! We were made to feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived and that continued until the very moment we left. Pitches are varied and thought out very well to cater for all preferences. I genuinely could not recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for a truly awesome stay. We'll definitely be returning! Sooner rather than later I hope!
