Swam in the lake too. You've got all the facilities you need (although we needed our own loo paper, so might be worth bearing in mind!) and lots to explore just on the campsite itself. If you're coming here, it's worth staying long enough to spend some time on the site. We wished were staying longer! Also got a very friendly welcome when we arrived. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We're glad you had a good time. apologies for the soap situation, we do top up the soap dispensers when they are low, as part of the toilet cleaning duties, however it was clearly missed on this occasion. We hope it doesn't put you off visiting again (and please, if you have any issues whilst on site, please make us aware at the time and we will do our best to rectify any issues)

We appreciate that the “don’t provide toilet roll” maybe peculiar to some, we do attempt to email all bookings ‘what you should know about our campsite’ to ensure they know what is required, but we accept these are not always received for one reason or another, but if anyone should forget toilet roll, please just let a member of staff know and we will happily provide you with one (please make a member of staff aware of any issues you have whilst on site and we will do our best to resolve them). In regards to the bins, you are quite correct, I went immediately to check and a few toilets were indeed without bins and I can assure you they now all have them. We have 3 showers on site, we appreciate there maybe times when you have to wait (and may not be ideal for families wishing to shower together), as we become busier we appreciate there is the need for more showers, which we will certainly address. We’re glad you overall had a nice time and enjoyed the site, and we hope you will visit us again in the future.
