I stayed with my adult son in the forest because we like the tent to stay nice and cool. Very peaceful vibe to the site even though it filled up with it being a bank holiday. Clean facilities. Good value baskets of logs. Wild swimming lake. Definitely intend to return.

It was so private, and we had space for a large tent, hammock, blow-up sofa, table, fire pit and windbreaker. There is an open water swimming lake onsite, we didn't get a chance to use it this time, but we'll definitely be returning to it later in Summer. The toilets are always clean, and the showers are warm. This campsite had everything we needed for an enjoyable weekend away, and we can't wait to return. From Matt and Meg (Pitch 14)

Thanks Barnaby, we’re glad you had a good time. We do accept that Lakeside B would benefit from an additional toilet, and we will get round to installing another one at some point soon hopefully.
