The bathroom facilities were good and clean and there was a great little honesty shop which was very welcome as I came by bike and wasn't carrying many items.

Thank you for your kind review. My brother mows regularly throughout the week and sometimes I wonder if he is preparing for Wimbledon! But I know that campers really appreciate the wonderful grass field. I have increased the sizes of the pitches too so there is plenty of room. I am glad you like the shower schedule although I only encourage this at busy times. I set it up during covid and it has proved to be very popular with my campers here. I think you may have overlooked the third toilet - easy to do! But I have three toilets and three showers that are open throughout the day and night and always hot water available too. We loved the amenities, the toilet & shower block are decorated to a high standard and there was always lots of hot water. The kitchen area with fridge freezer was a nice touch ( kept our beer/ciders nice and chilled thanks) and a well stocked honesty shop meant no runs to the shops required. All in all a fab place and we have already booked to return

The short walk to the pub in the village was ideal and the Duck was a lovely gastropub. The proximity of the station meant that we were able to go out without striking camp and extended our horizons during our stay.

The Honesty Shop is proving to be very popular and I know that everyone loves walking to the village Pub - how lucky we are to have this in the village!The station always confuses people as it is called Wickham Market although it is in the village of Campsea Ashe and you are right - it is relatively close - certainly walking distance if needs be. The train to London leaves every hour and you can also catch a train to Lowestoft. I look forward to welcoming you back and thank you again for your kind words. Tx

Thank you for your kind review. You mention the library! I loved setting this up. The books are to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust and I would say at one time - I was 'selling' many books - but what has happened to readers?? Does everyone use a kindle now? There are still plenty of books and very few have gone. There are games also available on site. The firepits are always popular here and I love to see and hear them at night.
