The site had great facilities with everything I wanted. I was greeted by a helpful host. The plots were spacious with lush grass (tent pegs went in easy). Had a great night's sleep :-)

What a great site! I was using it as a stopover on my way to Latitude. I arrived a little after the office 'closed' but there were really clear instructions provided to sign in and find my pitch. As it turned out, the owner came over anyway to made sure I was OK and we also has a lovely chat about festivals!
Good, clearly marked, large pitches, all with a fire pit. All the basic facilities were clean, well set up and with a few nice touches thrown in. There was a covered seating area with a few games and plenty of seats for anyone wanting to gather in larger groups, or just to relax and read on your own, as one chap was doing.
There is a lovely little kitchen area and fridge available to anyone needing to use it. For anything you've forgotten, there is an honesty shop next to the kitchen with pretty much anything you need and much of it was local, like the marmalade that I bought.

Note, this isn't a dislike, just for awareness. If coming from the South, the lane (Station Road) leading up to the site is fairly narrow. It's not a problem getting up there, I have a large Volvo and long van, but you wouldn't want to meet anything similar coming the other way! As I left, I turned out to the left and only had to go a short way to go before the road provided passing places. If you are coming in with a large van or car and caravan, probably worth heading in from the North, using Marlesford Road.

Peace and quiet. I loved the peace and quiet of the location and the fact that the owners do not allow music or other disturbances, so a great way to get away from the normal hubbub of daily life. The pitches were a generous size and the orchard (for tents) offered excellent shelter from the wind from any direction.
Facilities. The toilets, washbasins and showers were very clean and there was plenty of very hot water. The honesty shop was a real bonus, offering a great range of items, including milk, eggs, chocolate, snacks, soft drinks, basic meals (add hot water type), etc. There was even a large fridge to keep things fresh! Outside there was a covered gazebo with comfortable sofas and metal chairs and tables which were very welcome to cycle-camper!

1. The Honesty Shop was fantastic, providing us with a few things we had forgotten and a few treats
2. Bathrooms and showers were always clean. Three of each was a good number for this size of campsite and we never had to wait
3. Entire site was really well maintained. We had a secluded pitch in the orchard which provided shade and extra privacy
4. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area
5. Very helpful owners who gave us a tour of the site when we arrived

Brick Kiln Campsite is a very well kept site with generous, level pitches, with their own fire pits. The toilets, showers and kitchen area are all immaculate, with many thoughtful details. Tina went out of her way to help us with a request we made in advance of our stay. We thoroughly recommend this site and are looking forward to coming back again.

We really like this campsite, we have been here before and remembered how peaceful it was. We explored the local countryside on our bikes and visited the local pub. Will definitely return in the future and would recommend.
