Beach time is easy to sort out when you’re staying at HolaCamp Palamós. Simply get your shoes on or hire a bike from this spacious and peaceful Costa Brava site to take the trail that leads straight down to sandy beaches. Palamós, La Fosca and Cala Castell are all about three kilometres from this site, which is 45 minutes’ drive from Girona and just outside the small village of Vall-llobrega. Fishing, forest walks, horse riding, tennis, sea excursions, golf and pitch and putt are in the area for those feeling active – or you could stick to two wheels instead, making an in-depth tour of all the crafts and produce in the local villages and towns…? The site has an outdoor pool that's surrounded by trees and shrubs for those who’d like some respite from the sun, and there’s also a playground, a games room, a multisports court and entertainment to keep the kids busy. To fuel such activity, the bar-restaurant serves up drinks, quick snacks and more leisurely meals, and there’s a supermarket for your self-catering supplies.

当地景点

The cycle path from the site leads scenically down to the beach at Castell, near Palamós. Local opposition to development means it's the most unassuming and natural looking stretch of sand around here, with secluded coves, a long length of beach and lovely blue-green waters. Amble the Cami de Ronda coastal path from Castell to La Fosca, another peacefully sandy place with safe waters for swimming, crevices for rockpooling and crabbing, and a good selection of cafés, bars and restaurants just off the beach. Sailing and windsurfing are top picks here too: if you're not sure where to start, a watersports centre is in town. Driving from the site, reach the spectacular space of the Jardins de Cap Roig or a watery family day at the Aquadiver Parc Aquatic waterpark, both 12 kilometres away. Another waterpark, Parc Aquàtic Water World, is within 50 kilometres at Lloret de Mar. Urban days out can (and should) be sorted at Empúries, 40 kilometres away, and fably ancient Girona, 50 kilometres away along the C31.
