You’ll feel mighty well – and mighty watery – when you bed down at this spectacular Slovenia site: entrance to both the huge thermal waterpark and the accompanying sauna costs absolutely nothing for site guests, and you’ll also have easy access to many more treatments and facilities ranging from wellness sessions to outdoor fitness. And in between all that? You’re easily saved from sightseeing stresses at this comely location too, as Camping Terme Ptuj is about five minutes’ drive from the splendid town of Ptuj: so close that you’ll be able to see its red slate roofs and 12th-century hilltop castle from these pretty grounds. Sailing, rowing and fishing are all nearby too, within 15 minutes’ drive at Slovenia’s biggest reservoir, Lake Ptuj. Camping Terme Ptuj is a big family site and thermal spa, on the banks of the Drava river. Guests get free admission twice daily to the waterpark, which is made up of 12 outdoor and indoor pools, seven waterslides, a lazy river, a wave machine and a kids' paddling pool with slide and waterfall. Lots of wellness, sports and recreation services including the sauna, spa treatments, outdoor fitness classes and volleyball and basketball courts are available for an extra charge, and you can hire bikes if you want to explore the network of cycling trails that surround the site. Fuel up for all these activities at the site restaurant and snack bar, or pick up essentials and fresh bread at the site shop for breakfast, packed lunches and, just possibly – scenic riverside picnics.

喜欢 Mi sono trovato bene,ero nella zona ombreggiata,i servizi essenziali e puliti ed alla reception ho trovato personale molto gentile.
Con il campeggio era compresa l'entrata al parco acquatico sia l'esterno che l'interno molto grande,un po' confusionario ma comunque ci sta,le persone sono qui per divertirsi.

不喜欢 Visto l'ampiezza delle terme i vari giochi per i bambini non capisco perché questi debbano anche essere nelle saune oppure dentro alle varie Whirpool .

不喜欢 Wc in het oude deel sterk verouderd mag het nodige geupdate worden, douchen met douchgordijntjes is niet van deze tijd, rook niet altijd fris

不喜欢 De onduidelijke aanduidingen over de plaatsen en de piepkleine plaatsen die niet gemaakt zijn voor het huidige kamperen. Als we naast onze tent wilden zitten, moesten we eigenlijk nog een plaats extra hebben.
In het zwembad waren er vaak glijbanen gesloten. Voor zo een dure camping is dit niet fijn.
Er was al van 7u ‘s morgens lawaai van bladblazers en dergelijke. Niet echt rustgevend.

喜欢 Het plekje lekker onder de bomen, je mag zelf je plekje uitkiezen en het personeel is vriendelijk! Wandelen naar t leuke stadje Ptuj.

不喜欢 Het verouderde sanitair waar je alleen kan douchen met een douchegordijn. Op de andere kant van de camping staat een mooi nieuw sanitairgebouw. Wij hebben hier bijna een week gestaan en merken dat t echt meer er doorreis camping was(t was een komen en gaan). Er was ook geen winkel en/of broodjes service aanwezig terwijl dat wel in de beschrijving staat. T zwembad is leuk, maar ook aan vervanging toe en mag allemaal wat hygiënischer

Reach Ptuj, the oldest recorded city in Slovenia, in five minutes by car from the site via the Pot v Toplice. As you might expect from such an old settlement, there are historic buildings of all ages here: have a look at the medieval castle, on a hill overlooking the town, and the Old Cathedral of St George, also dating back to the 12th century. If you’re in Ptuj in spring, the 10-day Kurent or Korant Carnival is a hoot. Slovenia’s second biggest city Maribor is half an hour’s drive north west. Sights to see include the Stara trta, the oldest vine in the world at about 450 years old; the tourist info and wine tasting centre of The Old Vine House, and (can you see a pattern emerging here…?) five and a half million litres of wine at the Vinag Wine Cellar. Ramble around the sights of the city squares too, particularly Maribor Castle, the Maribor Regional Museum and Coffeehouse Astoria in Castle Square. Windsurfing, sailing, kitesurfing, canoeing, kayaking, motorboating, fishing, beach volleyball and more are all at Lake Ptuj about 15 minutes’ drive from the site.
