喜欢 Well laid out site. Good facilities.
Best coffee.
Polite staff and reception excellent.
Close proximity to the Great Saint Bernard Pass and Etrobes.
Very clean showers and toilets.

不喜欢 Stony pitches for tents, which made pegging difficult.
Small pitches very close together.
Pool is very small.

喜欢 Lovely campsite but smaller than we thought, the staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the town so we decided to stay another night.

不喜欢 Pitch was difficult to access with a motorhome, only because we were on an upper level.

不喜欢 No toilet rolls! Need to wear a swimming hat in the pool (I now understand that is some what of the norm in Italy). Next they’ll want me to wear speedos!

For a little look at the area’s history, walk to the open-air museum in the village of Etroubles (five minutes' walk) or visit the centre of Aosta (25 minutes' drive), an important city with Roman remains and other attractions. Beyond that, it’s worth paying a visit to medieval Fenis Castle (half an hour) and Forte di Bard (45 minutes), a riverside fortress with interactive exhibits for the tiddlers. Prefer to keep things as active as possible? There are trekking, mountain biking and e-biking routes directly from the site and winter, the area's a haven for skiing or mountaineering. Sign up for a heart-pumping rafting day on the Dora River (half an hour’s drive). Winter guests might like to take the ski bus up to the slopes of Crevacol (15 minutes) or try out different ways of getting about on snow at the Flassin Snow Park (10 minutes), where there’s also a good collection of stuff for the kids. Elsewhere nearby are family-friendly days out among the Alpine creatures at Parc Animalier d’Introd (35 minutes) and chances to view all the stunning scenery from on high with a ride on the Skyway Monte Bianco cable car (50 minutes).
