Camping Naabtal-Pielenhofen

喜欢 Initially booked for 2 days, increased to 4. Received a beautiful spot just 3 meters from the Naab river, where we did some SUP activities and fishing. Spot was of really good size and clearly marked with out name upon arrival. Camping is really close to Regensburg, so perfect location to stay in order to visit the city and surrounding area. Friendly staff, senior woman in the reception brought out her best English, which was good as my German is close to non-existent and she was really chatty and friendly. Fishing licences sold on site, nice bier garten and small shop with everything you need. Cash is king, so bring enough. If not then the local village has an ATM, so no problem really. Toilets and sanitary facilities were some of the cleanest we have seen. No insects to bother us, even if this was late July. Site is really quiet and well organised with a mix of permanent campers and short stay tourists. Good mix of camper vans, camping trailers, Motorcyclists and cycling tourists. We brought 2 dogs, no problem at all. Good hikes around the area to walk the dogs. Decent play area for kids, and horses to meet at the local farm. Pitch ground was level, gras covered and without any mud.

不喜欢 Some road noice from the local road across the river. The noice travels easy across the river. Not any fault of the owners, just how it is. WiFi signal seemed limited to the reception area, bu worked fine there.

喜欢 Location is fantastic, cycling in either direction is lovely, swimming in the river after a long hot cycle ride is wonderful.
Huge skips for rubbish disposal is a great idea. The showers are the cleanest and spacious I been on a site, with no silly push buttons to keep them running.

不喜欢 Some pitches a little tight on space. Reception could be a little more friendly.
Cash only is a real pain if you forget and have to go to next village for a cash machine.

喜欢 The toilets were clean. The morning croissants were excellent.
The two people who were serving in the ‘restaurant’, a middle aged man and a younger woman were rushed off their feet but were very efficient and always had a smile.

不喜欢 It is a large site but the area for the temporary stays was too cramped and we had two very noisy families next to us who laughed and cackled until after midnight. Tried to ‘shush’ them but they ignored. Ignorant folk.
Everything had to be paid by cash. Very unusual for such a large site.

喜欢 Großer Campingplatz für Wohnwagen, Zelte, Dauercamper und auch Hütte zum Anmieten, von 8-21 gibts durchgehend warme und kalte Speisen, Strom gegen kleinen Aufpreis auch vorhanden. Die Waschräume sind sehr gepflegt und sehr top aus. Es gibt nen schönen Spielplatz für die kleineren, 2 Sportplätze, Sauna/Solarium, eine Badestelle an der Naab und man hat die Möglichkeit zu Angeln. Es dind öfter Veranstaltungen.

不喜欢 Leider war unser Zeltplatz mit wenig Erde und darunter nur Gestein, so dass man die Heringe nur sehr schlecht in den Boden bekam, aber bei dem Windstillen Wetter, hat das nicht weiter gestört.

喜欢 Große Stellplätze, liebevoll gestaltete großzügige Sanitäranlagen, freundliches Personal, Baden im Fluss, eigener Steg, schöne Umgebung.
Aus einer geplanten Nacht wurde eine ganze Woche!

喜欢 Met de plek (straat 23) ,met het toilet gebouw ( netjes en schoon)met de biergarden, aardige mensen bij de receptie.

不喜欢 De vuurkorven die 's avonds aangestoken werden. Vreselijk!!! Twee avonden in de rook en ook in de ochtend was het nog rokerig.
