Mountain biking more your cup of tea? Lauzerte Gravity Park (20 minutes’ drive) should pique your interest. Speed demons can also join the audience for events at Circuit de Moto-cross “La Gaspale” (20 minutes). Spend just a little longer in the car to reach Montauban (35 minutes), a pretty town on the river Tarn with an art museum and a gorgeous central plaza, Place Nationale, surrounded by red-brick arcades and restaurant terraces. While you’re in town, you could get your escape room fix at Escape Game Montauban (40 minutes) or head to Port Canal (40 minutes) for scenic canalside cycle rides. On the other side of Montauban is Le Petit-Paris (an hour), a family-friendly park with tiny scale models of the Eiffel Tower and other iconic locations in France.
