Camping du Poulquer

喜欢 Close to beach and town, good sized pitches with hedging making it feel private. Clean, nice sized swimming pools and some flumes on site.

Facilities cleaned regularly. Food trucks visit certain evenings were a nice touch.

Newer toilet block was nice with good sized showers, good washing up area, baby bath room with change table (helpful as we had a 3 month old at the time of visiting).

One review I read before going said they didn’t find the second toilet block until being there a couple of days….but they are right opposite each other. They clean one block at a time meaning facilities are always available.

Fencing around the playground was secure. I was not worried about it being ‘near the road’ I felt my kids were totally safe there. The equipment was quite new, 2 large trampolines and a bouncy castle.

不喜欢 Very limited onsite shop.

Was noisy in the evening until 10-11pm.

Older toilet block is dated and you can not change the temperature of the showers which were boiling hot.

Greating on arrival was not bad but could have been a little more customer focused. Maybe provide a map or a welcome info sheet with shop and pool times, any site rules etc, a simple touch but after our 7 hour journey (which should have been 3) with 3 kids a little information would have been helpful.

喜欢 Piscine, l'emplacement et la propreté des sanitaires et du camping

不喜欢 Aucunes animations pour les enfants les après-midi.
Aquagym seulement 2 matins dans la semaine, idem 2 karaokés.
Pas de soirée dansante, ni de soirée spectacle ou Soiree mousse pour les enfants. Car apparemment ils n'ont pas assez de personnel. Ce camping ne vaut pas 4⭐. On ne parle même pas de la sois disant épicerie où il ni a rien et le bar ouvre seulement a 18h si il y a le personnel pour... Et wifi payant

喜欢 Vriendelijke en behulpzame beheerder van een camping die op 10 min lopen van het strand ligt. De camping heeft een mini winkeltje waar je iig brood, melk en water kunt kopen. Supermarkt op 1.4 km.
Voldoende en schoon sanitair.
Gezellige camping met vermaak en elke avond een andere foodtruck.

不喜欢 Zo jammer dat je met je wc-rol en zeepje om je handen te wassen steeds over de camping moet lopen!

喜欢 Lovely Campsite, friendly owner, beside the small town. Make sure you stock up on groceries beforehand as its a 20 minute walk to the groceries shop. Clean pitches Lovely pool

喜欢 Relaxed, friendly atmosphere, family run by friendly staff. Can order fresh baguettes and croissants from the little food shop. Amazing pool with slides that kept my daughter entertained all week. Great food vans I'd you don't want to cook, particularly the crepe one! Clean facilities, if a little basic.

不喜欢 Not a dislike, but don't expect massively slick, efficient service. This isna family run place.

喜欢 The campsite is located close to the beach and town, meaning you don’t need to drive out everyday. The supermarket is walkable, but we chose to drive as it was hot!
The pools are really good fun, although not all the features were working.
There is a good play area including a bouncy castle - unfortunately this was right near the entrance and road which meant we didn’t feel comfortable letting our child go there without an adult.
The pool and the washing facilities were clean.
The pitches are a good size and are well shaded which is great when you’re in a tent!
The lady in the little shop was lovely.

不喜欢 When we arrived, we got a very cold welcome from the owner who acted like we were inconveniencing him. His attitude did not get better during the stay - for example, he seemed to leave us waiting longer than others at the bar - We have no idea if we did something to offend him or if he’s like that with others, but we saw him smiling and laughing with other guests.
There is no map and we had no introduction to where things are, meaning we didn’t find some of the facilities until days after we arrived!
There is no toilet paper or hand soap in the toilets. In the block closest to us there was only three showers in the ladies facilities. (There is another block, but I didn’t find that until day 3!)
The toilet block is closed for cleaning in the morning when everyone needs to use the facilities which seems really odd and poorly thought out.
