Tucked into hilly Denbighshire countryside, ParcFarm Caravan Park in North Wales is just about midway between Llangollen, Mold and Ruthin (they’re all within 25 minutes’ drive), with stunning views of the surrounding Clwydian Range peaks. Escape from your hectic working life begins as soon as you arrive on site. The grass and gravel touring pitches all have electric hook-ups for your total convenience, and ParcFarm also has a heated swimming pool, a play area and a football/sports field. That’s the kids taken care of then… And you can relax too, knowing that The Ranch House licensed club house serves a variety of pub meals to eat in or take away, meaning your evenings are all about socialising with your offspring rather than worrying about catering for them – there’s often karaoke of a night too. There are accessible, well-maintained toilet and shower blocks and a laundry area available to all guests. If you need inspiration for sightseeing ideas, head for the tourist information point at reception. Anything else you need can be sourced in Ruthin and Mold stores, and there are plenty of restaurants locally if you fancy a change of scenery.

If browsing stalls is your thing, Mold has popular twice-weekly street markets, and there is a monthly farmers’ market in Ruthin (both 15 minutes’ drive). Llangollen (25 minutes) also has a variety of shops – from book stores to boutiques and galleries – and here you can join a barge trip to cross the vertigo-inducing Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Get set to explore the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape on foot straight from your pitch, or go pony trekking (half an hour) in the wooded hills. Anglers can try their luck on the pools at Llandegla Fishery (10 minutes), and if you like a purpose to your stroll, there are a couple of golf courses within 20 minutes’ drive. When a day learning about the heritage of North Wales is required, Minera Lead Mines and Country Park (15 minutes) is a winner with the kids as it combines a museum with ambles along a former railway track. Talking of train lines, you can immerse yourself in the beauty of the Dee Valley landscape from the comfort of the Llangollen Railway (25 minutes).

喜欢 Site is very clean and set out very good for touring caravans,shower block immaculate well kept,the club house was warm and welcoming.The reception staff so helpful and friendly, we had our tea from the clubhouse very tasty hot and reasonable price again the staff could not do enough. Was so impressed we have booked again in two weeks time love it thank you so much

喜欢 Great communication with campsite couldnt have been more helpful in accomodating my husbands needs giving us a pitch near to stuff due to huby being registered blind. Had a relaxing stay and great night out on the sat. Eve. Good singer on.

不喜欢 Only negative would be we couldnt get any tv signal that was after trying 3 arials

喜欢 And had toilets are short walk away. We didn’t use the showers on site. The chemical waste is same place as toilets so again a small walk away. Entertainment in the clubhouse and has a park on site.

不喜欢 The clubhouse don’t allow dogs, the chef refusing to put anything on a side plate for example a bowl of cheese if you don’t want it directly on your chips or burger. Minor for some but can be major for others.

喜欢 Lovely and quiet site. Good location.
A lot of regulars on the site which was good. We went into the club on the Friday night and it was such a good night for kids as well as adults.
One of our children gave the campsite 20 out of 10 which was good.

不喜欢 20p for a shower was stated on the site information but i thought this was per shower. The 20p lasts 2 minutes.

不喜欢 Showers on 20p meter which isn’t made clear before arrival. Restaurant food is good but felt unwelcome. Pool had no changing facilities
