喜欢 A wonderful camping experience from start to end. Beautiful grounds and so much to explore. A warm friendly welcome and extremely accommodating and genuine from coming to tell the girls that a deer was near by to look at, to making sure our stay was ok as a large group arrived so was just checking in due to possible noise etc. but we had a great time and look forward to visiting again with more of our camping crew.

喜欢 Natural beauty of the estate and rented bikes to cycle to New Galloway. Explored Kenmure Castle and was impressed by Hensol Estate infrastructure (clean toilets and showers kitchen appliances for campers etc) and friendly service from the family. Highly recommended.

不喜欢 Long drive to nearest store (either way) but can’t have everything in a place of natural beauty, so no complaints.

喜欢 Has a nice little honesty shop to buy some things you may need. Mosquito spray/ wrist bands/bbg coals/ a tin opener that sort of thing wood for the fire pits available to buy for 10 quid. They have there own fire pits to use. Quiet after 11 a nice place to camp.

喜欢 I absolutely loved this campsite, its very peaceful and i loved that on the morning we were leaving we saw a wild deer on the field by the gates. we stayed in the apex pod, 2 adults, 1 child and a dog. it was clean and very cosy, warm at night too. the beds were massive once you layed the mattresses out and I loved the fact it faced outwards to the fields behind to give you that privacy. the price was great value for money considering its the 6 weeks holidays for the kids. the showers and toilets were clean and a station to do the washing up. the info shop had bits and bobs in it like bbq coal, marshmallows, colouring books crayons etc all at a good price. the staff were friendly. I would definitely recommend this campsite.

喜欢 Erg mooie kampeerplek, veel wc's en douches, die ook erg proper waren. Heel erg rustig gelegen! Duidelijke en snelle communicatie toen we de locatie niet meteen vonden.

喜欢 We liked everything about this campsite!
Beautiful location ... able to choose where we pitched our tent.
Lovely facilities ... all very clean.
Particularly liked the fact there was a fridge and freezer available to use!
We are looking forward to going back and renting a kayak as the lake isn't far from the campsite!

Well space out pitches.
Availability of fire pits.
Small shop with honesty box.
Good facilities.
Bike hire.

不喜欢 Would benefit from more electric hook ups further down the field.
