喜欢: The views were fabulous, private pitch, dog friendly, camp shop with everything you need.
不喜欢: €15 per person for a tent is quite expensive for a pitch with no electricity.
€20 capped charger for a motorhome.

Brendan was very helpful,very knowledgeable about the area and local hiking spots.
Crottys lake hike is amazing.
Very clean site and lovely and quiet at night, perfect getaway.

喜欢: The camp is beautiful, the place for a tent and a campfire is next to the river, very quiet and beautiful, a real paradise to avoid the city crowd. The owner is very friendly, we had the opportunity to talk with him and hear his story about the lake Crotki lake. We really recommend a beautiful experience. from the camp there are a lot of hiking trails, one leads directly from the camp, the others go to the surrounding area, but they have parking lots at the bottom of each hike. If you are adventurist and like to escape in nature go for it. The view is amazing.

喜欢: Beautiful "off grid" campsite, friendly owner. Had a lovely relaxing stay here, quiet and peaceful, great views. 2 children with us aged 9 and 13, found themselves plenty to do playing in the woods and streams around. Did have charge points, hot water urns night and day and WiFi- but we didn't need to use it!
不喜欢: We couldn't find the campsite, there was no sign, so we nearly missed out on a brilliant stay!

喜欢: The remoteness and quiet. The wildlife (seen wild sika deer and a fox). It's a semi wild camping place with various hikes and walks and of course the hike to Crotty's lake which was spectacular in the spring sunshine.
The owner Bernard was so helpful and he couldn't do enough for us. There is a shelter with offerings of cans of soft drinks, biscuits, tea coffee etc. and is payable via honesty box, I had no cash with me so sent via Revolut. My 11 year son was with me and he really enjoyed his two night stay. We tent camped and there was several grass level pitches. There is a stream running through the site adding to the rustic feel of the place. Family's will love it as well as couples and solo campers. It's not a place for mad parties as it gets quiet from around 10 p.m. which suited us perfectly.
We can't wait to stay again.

喜欢: Practically wild camping. With only one toilet and no showers. A small communal kitchen is available. Beautiful spot with good hiking and fantastic views. The owner is upgrading as we post.

喜欢: We had a lovely stay at Crotty's Lake Campsite! The views were amazing and we loved the surrounding woods and the little stream flowing through the campsite.
The owner was very friendly as well - we would definitely recommend staying here!
