There are lots of great attractions to draw you to the north Antrim coast – the Giant’s Causeway, Bushmills, Rathlin Island, the Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge… and the lovely accommodation at Fairhead Glamping Pods, in a rural location close to the coast about 10 minutes’ drive from Ballycastle. This is a scenic spot indeed, looking out over Murlough Bay (with glimpses of Scotland in the distance on a clear day) and with lake views from each pod. It’s all part of the Antrim Coast and Glens Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so there are lots of lovely walks nearby – both along the coast and inland. Getting out and about to all those famed attractions should be straightforward from here – ferries leave for Rathlin Island from Ballycastle, and the Giant’s Causeway is a little over half an hour’s drive away. Ballycastle is also a handy source of shops and places to eat. Back at base, you’ll be staying in a cosy self-contained pod that’s got its own ensuite bathroom and kitchenette (with a fridge, kettle, toaster and all sorts of crockery and utensils). To make life nice and easy, beds are made up, towels are provided and there are various handy extras including heating and wifi. Outside, each pod has a balcony that’s angled towards the lovely lake view, with seating and a barbecue/firepit to help you make the most of your time spent out there. For the comfort of all guests, the whole site is non smoking and the needs of guests with allergies can be accommodated.

喜欢 We had a wonderful stay here! The pods are well equipped very clean and made to a high spec while being cosy. The views here are amazing the area is so quiet and peaceful. Frank was so friendly and welcoming and we felt right at home. Perfect if you’re looking to be in nature for some quietude with some great walks too

喜欢 The glamping pods are in a stunning location and we never heard or saw the occupants in the other. Everything was really clean with a comfortable bed, lots of hot water and fluffy towels for the shower and everything needed to make breakfast or a light meal. We had a bbq one night too which was great sitting out watching the sun go down. We had a lovely walk up to Fairhead cliffs from the pods one night then from the farm carpark on another. Well worth the £3 to see the stunning GoT location. Only a short drive to Ballycastle and some stunning coves. We will definitely visit again.

喜欢 Everything. So comfortable, and the view of the sunset over the lake was magic. Eoin the host was very friendly and helpful. It was ideal for our visit to do a bit of walking on Fairhead and the glens of Antrim. We will definitely book again.
