喜欢 Staff at the 'shop' were so so friendly, loved the log van going round in the evening to make sure you had enough for your firepit. Bakery Van was a great idea. Pitch was clean and tidy. Kids loved the hay bales and tunnel. Especially loved the steam trains running through. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Huge site, easy to find a pitch away from the busier spots if wanted. Neighbours friendly.

不喜欢 Long walk to the toilets in the night if at the further end of the fields, unsure if it would be possible to add some porta loos or something for those further away from the block. Although wasn't awful for us.

喜欢 It’s got fantastic views - very friendly vibes .. not too many signs of rules everywhere- really helpful staff and we love it and have come back second time here and will do so again

喜欢 Brilliant site, nice and spaced out. Clean bathroom. Our boys loved the trains going past, the owners were lovely to and were only a text away if we needed anything

不喜欢 Unfortunately a couple of other campers didn't pay attention to the dogs must be on leads rule while we were there I'm sure this isn't a usual thing for the site but did mean our children were unable to play as freely and we weren't able to relax while they played

喜欢 Lovely campsite, booked originally for the one night due to reading a couple of recent mixed reviews but managed to speak to the lovely owners at the reception hut and extended our booking to 5 nights.
Such a lovely location, the train going last is a lovely attraction.
Great facilities, nice snack selection and ice creams on site. Toilets and showers were great and cleaned regularly and for the price far nicer than portaloos.
The firepits were a great add on and easy enough to get more logs when we needed.
Will definitely be back and recommending to friends!

喜欢 The site was very well kept and the toilet and shower block was nice and clean .
Friendly staff on reception made us feel very welcome . .The van selling everything you would need with great opening times .
Beautiful views on site :)

喜欢 The amount of space, the beautiful scenery, the firepits, the breakfast van option, and the children’s play area.

不喜欢 Some noise in the evening (group up late with music next to us) and early morning (vehicles moving around).

不喜欢 The pictures can be a bit up and down as in not to level, but there’s plenty of space to find a flat area

喜欢 Really liked the quietness of this camp site. Showers were accessible all the time and warm. Washing up areas were clean . I loved the fact that you could pick your own pitch . The lady who runs it was lovely . Local amenities . Steam train was lovely to watch every day .

喜欢 Loved the location & the train passing along the bottom of the field. Really loved the simplicity of everything as we always prefer the ‘choose where you camp’ sites. Loved having easy access to the footpath to some lovely walks from behind the toilet block. Toilet facilities & showers were clean throughout. We liked the 20p shower facility as meant we never queued for long. Yes another basin in the ladies would have been good but everyone was respectful of each other, stepping aside to share. The children’s hay bale area looked great for those with children of that age & it was lovely to see & hear the children having a fabulous time.
We had a lovely time & will definitely return.

不喜欢 We didn’t dislike anything about the site. Our only negative experience was 2 sets of noisy neighbours who sadly pitched next to us & didn’t respect the ‘quiet time’ rules or not playing loud music. This was a shame as we were delighted by the 10pm no noise rule. However it also gave us plenty to have a laugh about afterwards.
