喜欢 Found the site was just what be wanted for our stay. Personal friendly and pitch good. Would certainly recommend to friends and would certainly stay again if that way.

喜欢 The site was really peaceful, with lots of birdsong, rabbits hopping around and even moles pushing up the earth in front of us!
The shower and toilet facilities were a good size and very clean.
There was a games room with a dart board and board games.
The electric hookup worked well.
The pitches were very large.

喜欢 We found the campsite really quiet & relaxing. We had generous sized pitches. The facilities were excellent. The site had lovely views of the Purbeck Hills. Would definitely stay again & recommend to others.

喜欢 This place is lovely.
Small and, what the most important is, as quiet as adults only campsite can be.
With big clean bathrooms and showers.
We definitely will visit this place again.

We are pleased to hear that you appreciated the cleanliness and level condition of your pitch. However, we are disappointed to learn that your stay did not meet your expectations.

We were unaware of the issues with the WC. A visit to reception might have been helpful, enabling our staff to address both the problem and the shortage of toilet paper.

Regrettably, the dog walking area is limited to a woodland setting, as we do not have access to open fields. Unfortunately, the presence of flies is beyond our control.

We will take your comments and make an effort to improve.

喜欢 Very friendly lady at reception. Nice toilet and shower block.

不喜欢 The site was scruffy overall and the feature pond at reception was literally full of rubbish. Advertised pitchside Internet wasn't working (..site could have offered free electric instead, but didn't!). "Club" was basically a shed. Sorry, but its a bit much styling the site as a "Retreat".

Our site is a very rural site, once a working farm, hence the barns etc, we try to keep our site as natural as possible rather than pruned and manicured as there is an abundance of wildlife living on site. The pond has recently been emptied of fish and is in the process of being filled to make an alternative feature. Also, the purpose of the 'club' is to provide campers with a dry place to go during inclement weather, as well as a place to get together, play darts or board games and have a drink. We do not sell alcohol as we do not have a license but customers a free to provide their own.
The name 'Retreat' is a reflection of the peace and quiet experienced at our site.
