In nearby Lynmouth, you will find the meeting of walking routes including the South West Coast Path, the Two Moors Way, the Tarka Trail, and the Samaritans Way – and that’s before you consider Exmoor National Park to the south. After a hard day’s hiking, you’ll be welcomed back to a spacious campsite with pitch types for all units. If your legs need a rest from walking, then try a day out at Exmoor Zoo, Coombe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, or National Watersmeet House at the home of one of Britain’s deepest river gorges. Further afield you can get a boat trip from Lynmouth Harbour to go wildlife watching or catch a boat to the dramatic and wild island of Lundy from Ilfracombe.
