喜欢 We were looking for somewhere to stay as my band 52nd street were gigging in Exeter on the friday, but we had an other gig on the sat worried about where to stay.We tried pitch up and found this beautiful tranquil place , has everything you need to just chill and enjoy.
Its safe and picturesque.
We will definitely be back real soon.thank you !!

喜欢 Really easy to find pitch as you come in, your name is at the entrance and then marked up at the pitch. Spacious, you don't feel too near anyone else.

Facilities are excellent, really clean and well maintained.

Hosts are so friendly and even let us use a hookup when ours wouldn't work.

喜欢 Facilities were great, and we particularly liked the fact that we only paid for the electric we used - makes you realise how the sites that charge a fixed fee are winning!

It was lovely for you to mention that you liked the fact that you only pay for the electricity you use....we are really pleased that we converted our meters to this. Like yourselves our campers love it, why subsidise someone else's use. The only ones who don't like it are the ones who use a lot of electric. In the past they would have plugged in for say, £5 fixed nightly charge, and used far more than that - sometimes charging other batteries so they could be off grid whilst they travel around the area, or leaving heaters on whilst they are away. We've no issues with this but now they pay for what they use like everyone else. We aren't a money grabbing campsite here and offer value for money which our campers love.
Maybe we'll see you next time.

喜欢 This is a fantastic site. The owners are lovely, helpful, and very welcoming.
The facilities are spotless (always plenty of hot water) and the pay as you go electric is a brilliant idea.
Would definitely recommend and we'll certainly stay there again.

喜欢 Arrived to our signposted pitch so knew exactly where we needed to be. Great pitch with a supplied table/bench.
Went down to reception as received a lovely friendly welcome from the oner Bridget who sorted out our electric and told us all we needed to know. Great toilet and shower facilities which were kept on top of regularly. We didn't realise/ need a kitchen but there we facilities next to the shower block for those who needed.
Very quiet site.
For a first time camper it was a lovely first experience.

喜欢 We only stayed for 1 night, but wished it could have been longer. The facilities were excellent and with music playing in the shower block, I found myself singing along to Copacabana!
Brigit, was so warm and welcoming.

喜欢 WOW ..... Bridget , welcomed me / us with a really friendly welcoming welcome, explained everything perfectly. couldn't fault Bridget she was amazing .
there is a small shop on site that stocked the basics and a little extra incase you forgot anything .
the local supermarket was only a 10 min drive away in Bideford.
the toilet /showerblock was very clean , and the extra portable toilet / shower blocks was great to use , you didn't feel you had to rush in them 😀
I enjoyed my time there so much I booked a second week which wasn't a problem to book the second week so quick in June
ill definitely be comming back to stay again.

喜欢 The facilities were fantastic and always clean. We had hot water every time when showering and pot washing. The children’s play area is great and we enjoyed seeing the horses every day. We were in the Atlantic view field so had a stunning view of the coast and sunsets. Access to local amentities is only a short drive and you can explore lots of neighbouring towns and villages. We particularly loved Appledore for ice cream and fish and chips. Would definitely recommend this site and return.
