Stroxworthy Farm Campsite

喜欢 Jane was fantastic before we even arrived we had all the info and bits that we needed. Then she met us straight away and made us feel very welcome.

The site itself is beautiful with fantastic views, close amenities and peace and quiet.

The bathrooms were very clean and tidy.

喜欢 Lovely peaceful site with far reaching views. Spacious pitches. We were able to use one of the fields to exercise Ernie, our dog, which was a great bonus. Jane, the host, was very welcoming

不喜欢 Just a small one that would be great to see addressed the chemical toilet emptying was rather smelly and attached to the shower room did mean that the smell carried into the room if you could move the chemical emptying and dustbin storage away that would be great

喜欢 Really peaceful and wonderful views. Jane was really welcoming and we felt really relaxed. Facilities were basic, but very clean and well maintained. Hot showers and everything we needed.

喜欢 Loo and shower facilities are lovely. Warm, clean, homely.
Bin facilities, recycling all very good.
Fresh water and greywater drainage on every pitch.
Very friendly and accommodating campsite owner/farmer
Beautiful views , no one parks in front of the vans , so the views are straight across the beautiful soft rolling Devon countryside . Wild flowers in the meadow.

不喜欢 I had pitch next to facilities (somebody has to go there and the site was full ) but the cess pitch was a little smelly.
Silage smells are fine, it’s a farm after all but drain smells not so great !

来自经理: Thank you for your comments. I'm sorry to hear that the drain was smelling a little during your stay. We did have to clear a small blockage that afternoon so I imagine that was the cause. We encourge all our customers to get in touch with any issues so we can deal with them quickly. We are pleased you enjoyed the views and our spring meadow.

喜欢 Great site! Owner Jane was lovely and so welcoming, Phil & Steve that help on the site were also friendly and helpful. Facilities were kept nice and clean. Great views over the hills and across to Dartmoor. Nice and quiet on the site too apart from birds, sheep and cows. Walked to Woolsery a couple of times easy to get to but up and down a few hills so not for the faint hearted. Village has regular buses, shop, pub and fish & chips. Such a great site.

喜欢 Everything, a really peaceful stay. Fully serviced hardstanding with views to die for. Spotless unisex shower room, the small onsite kitchen was a bonus.
