喜欢 Everything ❤️ the open space, the closeness to the beach also the facilities were clean and regularly checked. There was no WiFi, which is a great plus with two young kids, they played bat and ball, read books, bubbles and with not a tablet in site.

喜欢 LOVED the basic-ness of it (if that is a word). Simple, bog standard which adds to the simplicity of the park.
Facilities included electric & non-electric large plots, 2 clean toilets, 2 warm showers, 1 hand wash sink & soap, 1 dish washing area, and amazing views! Not overcrowded.

The local beach is close enough to walk to, so make sure you bring your body board.

There are some amazing walks to be had and especially at sunset by the cliffs- get the right sky for it and it’s truly magical sight. You can’t get more back to nature than that!

喜欢 Alex the young man who owns/manages the site was lovely...so friendly and helpful. We were able to have a fire/bbq in a fire pit. The location was amazing. Loved how basic this site is...quite nostalgic having to walk through the field with a torch. The toilets and showers had no lights in them but this was nostalgic for me and our daughters thought it was quant. The lack of wifi was a bonus for the children to do something other than go on their phones and for me to switch off, but was an issue as I had some unexpectant emergencies that were difficult to manage with no phone reception.

不喜欢 The water tasted strange but this is probably not something to do with the campsite.
Very little phone reception...again not the campsites fault.
Only having 2 showers and 2 toilets was at times an issue and the site was almost empty. It would be more of an issue when the site is busy.
The dishwashing station had no shelter or hot water...but not an issue for us because we had adequate wet weather gear, and boiled a kettle for hot water but may be an issue for those who would like more creature comforts.

喜欢 The sea views were stunning, especially the sunsets over the ocean. The site itself was clean and spacious, with the owner regularly checking in to make sure everything was running smoothly. Toilets and showers were spotless and well-maintained. We even had a visit from the site cat, who was absolutely gorgeous and made our stay even more memorable. The owner is friendly and helpful.

不喜欢 Not much to dislike, just be aware that the data signal is weak, so it’s worth downloading a few films before you go. That said, it’s perfect if you’re looking to unplug and enjoy a bit of off-grid peace and quiet.

喜欢 Nice quiet location. Was kept very clean and the toilets were always clean and stocked.

喜欢 Great stay - beautiful hidden gem of a bay down the road (Porthcothan) small hamlet / village close by for supplies etc in st Merryn (car)

喜欢 Wow best field ever we had lots of fun plenty of space defo come back . Kids dogs loved every minute of our stay . Friendly staff great place

喜欢 Everything!
A perfect spot for my family to enjoy the simple life of camping. A beautiful walk to the beach, coast paths, short drive to St Merryn and Padstow. A great base to explore the area.
Facilities are basic but perfect. Will definitely be staying again.

不喜欢 Nothing to dislike about the site.

There is no WiFi and signal is intermittent, this wasn’t really a problem for us as it’s good to get off the devices!
