Charlestown Harbour (five minutes) is a good place to get a sense of what the area might have looked like in the past, and it’s a good place to pick up the South West Coast Path for a seaside walk too. For family activities, try the adrenaline activities at Hangloose Adventure and the games at Cornwall FootballGolf Park (both five minutes) or set off to Screech Owl Sanctuary & Animal Park (25 minutes) and Giant Slip Slide Cornwall (half an hour).
