Brickhouse Farm has grass pitches within the grounds of a farm in the Weald of Kent two miles from the village of High Halden, and about 15 minutes’ drive from Ashford. Accessed via a quiet country lane but close to the A28, this is a site that’s part of a 21-acre farmstead made up of pastureland and fishing ponds. At the centre of the property is a Grade II listed farmhouse, and there’s also a classic Kentish barn on site along with an assortment of farm buildings. The pitches here are simple in style but with access to water, a cesspit and a toilet and shower block that’s been done up to a very high standard. Barbecues are permitted (pick up supplies 10 minutes away on Tenterden’s lovely high street) and the area’s peppered with pubs catering for all tastes, styles and price levels. It’s easy to fill your days with fresh air around here – there are plenty of places to stroll or cycle in the nearby High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and a couple of golf courses within a few minutes’ drive. If you’re feeling brave perhaps fling yourself out of a plane at Headcorn Aerodrome; if not, perhaps sampling the wine at the local vineyard would be more your style. Other days out? Maybe gorgeous Leeds Castle, a shopping spree at Ashford’s designer outlets or a big cat encounter at an animal park? Or of course you could head down to Ashford and jump on the high-speed train for a trip to London – the capital’s only about 35 minutes away.

喜欢 Lovely site. The owner was so so friendly. She was really accommodating and showed us around when we arrived. Very peaceful, a big quite field, with a two lovely ponds, and so many stars at night. Very quiet.Facilities were very clean and showers very hot.

喜欢 It's really beautiful there! The neighbours are a bit noisy 🐄🐑😂 but very cute, the fish are feral when you feed them it's brilliant! Mr and Mrs Duck 🦆🦆 will pay you a visit or 2 if you're lucky! The facilities are good 👍 if you like taking photos, I do recommend the night time as well as day it's stunning 😍

喜欢 Gill, the host is lovely.
Nice facilities with hot water ( 2 showers with toilets) and 2 toilets. The maximum number of pitches is reasonable so all can enjoy space. Pond with fishes / duck and geese can be seen.

不喜欢 Gill warned us of the cracks in the grass as soon as we arrived as health and safety hasard so we were being careful. The floor got really dry due to lack of rain this year so there were 5/6 cm wide holes so something to be careful about with the ankles.
