喜欢 Simple site, lovely views and peaceful surroundings. Toilet block adequate. Very reasonable price for an electric hook up pitch. The wobbly shop is a great idea and if it hadn't been hurricane winds and torrential rain, we would have definitely hired a fire pit and bought logs. Good contact with owners, able to message if any problems or queries and quick responses.

不喜欢 Nothing really. As long as you know there are no showers and are happy with that, then all is good.

喜欢 Loved the site. Especially the little shop with feed for the local animals.
Saw plenty of wildlife once the rain stopped. Only stayed one night on way back from Scotland. But deffo would stay again.

喜欢 We all enjoyed the camp site and the animals. The shop was minimal but worked to the needs

不喜欢 No shower, ant 30degrees, and the kids didn’t like that the lights didn’t come on sooner.

We messaged the number we go our pitch number had no reply as the kids lost a toy in the sheep field and there were signs.

What might you get stuck into in Blackpool? Well, Blackpool Pleasure Beach (half an hour) has steep rollercoasters and a variety of less fearsome rides for those not quite up to the big rides. There’s plenty of action along the seafront in the form of amusement arcades and watersports. For a truly watersports-dedicated setting, Blackpool Wake Park (20 minutes) runs activities like paddleboarding, kayaking and wakeboarding. To the east, those seeking a little time in the moors and valleys can head into the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (half an hour). To the south, Lytham Hall (half an hour) has 78 acres of parkland, all part of an 18th-century mansion where there are hall tours.
