不喜欢 To be honest the facility's are a bit run down,rubbish area was overflowing with rubbish.
And unfortunately had some noisy campers well after midnight so ended up not been great,shame because the area is nice.

不喜欢 Toilets and showers were disgustingly dirty. Bins were full, floors were dirty. There was NOTHING to dry your hands with after washing.
No staff on site, so anyone could have just came in

喜欢 Loved how quiet, set back and clean this site was. such a lovely place with plenty of space. toilet and wash up areas were lovely for the price too cant compliment enough

Toilets weren't far from pitch
不喜欢 Bent all the pegs trying to get them in the ground! Came back with about 5
Felt huddled together on the electric tent/motorhome field, pitches could be bigger or guests could be positioned a bit better
Showers were alright but if someone else was showering at the same time it would be freezing cold then burning hot! 🤣
Couldn't find a public footpath nearby - site is situated down country lanes.(Obvs not an issue if you don't have dogs that you want to quickly walk in the morning!)

Great spot to stay for a weekend in the Land District by motorcycle.

喜欢 It's a basic campsite but actually, that works well for me. A toilet and shower which is cleaned a few times a day, no ask to feed tokens into a meter to use a shower that has decent pressure and hot water ... perfect. Friendly to motorcycle campers like myself, it's also really well situated for walks into the Lake District.
不喜欢 The toilet and shower block could be a bit smarter ...it's fine, but needs a bit of TLC to replace broken or missing tiles and the like. However, all perfectly serviceable.
