Now here’s a smart choice for a Cheshire glamping stay – Lower Hall Glamping, a rural spot about 10 minutes’ drive from Whitchurch, has that fabulous mix of convenient access, comfy accommodation and cracking countryside views. Getting here should be a straightforward endeavour, as the site is only a little over a mile from the A49 – and that location also means it should be simple to get out and about for day trips, perhaps heading up to Chester or nipping across the Welsh border to places like Wrexham or Llangollen. Closer to home, the Sandstone Trail passes close by for easy access to scenic walks. Back on site, you’ll follow a solar-lit path from the car park to your accommodation, which has been set up in a secluded spot to provide plenty of peace for all. It's a small-scale site so there won’t be many other guests around – in fact, you’re probably more likely to spot things like squirrels, foxes or owls, all of which are attracted here by the nature conservation projects on site. Each of the glamping units is pretty much self contained, with its own eco toilet and basic kitchen amenities (such as a kettle and toaster) as well as a double bed and a wood burner for heating (or cooking baked potatoes using the utensils provided). Outside, each unit has a veranda with a firepit, a barbecue and a picnic table, along with solar lights strung through the trees for extra atmosphere. Shared facilities here are rather smart too – including a swimming pool (open April to September), tennis court, gym, pool table and outdoor bar (where guests can bring their own drinks).

喜欢 Really lovely place to get away from it all, our hut was a home from home with a beautiful garden and amazing views. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful, can't thank them enough, they really went the extra mile for us. And we especially loved our furry host, Patty the dog, who was also very friendly! The eco toilet and sink in the hut is a great bonus to have as an en suite, but you do have the shared shower and conventional toilet facilities too. It was a very peaceful site as you're on the host's own property, and there are only two huts well spaced out from each other. This made it feel very private and we didn't have any noisy neighbour worries due to to this. As well as all of this, there were complimentary extras, and we were even offered the chance to pick fruit from the trees at the property which we did and enjoyed. We would love to visit again in the future.

喜欢 Absolutely beautiful place. The hut was situated in a secluded spot that was very peaceful. The host was super friendly and attentive. We were not expecting to have freshly picked produce given to us to accompany our BBQ. The homegrown vegetables and fruit tasted next level. It was a perfect place for our baby moon and we’ll certainly be back! An absolute dream and a perfect place to disconnect from city life.
