喜欢: We were in bays 9 & 10. Each bay has a picnic table & electric hook-up. The site has toilet & shower facilities, they were very clean and totally adequate. Yes there is a busy road - this is detailed in the description, but after 10mins its just background noise. Large bin store avaliable for rubbish. Local walks near by. Steve at the pub was very welcoming, and so were all his staff. The pub food was great quality and had a lovely big pub garden. The staff even helped me back to our table outside with drinks (as also had a great dane on the lead). We will be returning.

Bonus was the pub with its food and drink.

喜欢: Small site. Pub next door. Dog friendly. We ate in the pub, which is dog friendly. Food was tasty and plenty of it. Staff were friendly, as were the locals. We enjoyed a lovely walk along the canal. I dare say Bosley reservoir would be a great walk too. The beer garden is spacious. The shower is powerful but takes a while to run hot. The picnic bench per plot is a nice touch.

不喜欢: We were prepared for the road noise due to reading reviews, but it didn't let up all night. Nothing can be done about it and we booked knowing there would be road noise. The site is a little tired. Paint on the toilet and shower block, externally could do with another coat. You could tell from reviews that the main gate ised to be painted white, but is flaky now. There was no rubbish but there were quite a few dog rocks. Slightly over priced for what it was.

来自经理: I am so sorry about the (dog rocks) it makes me so mad that owners can not pick up after their own animals mess il be out yet again to clear it up myself, obviously the traffic noise is well reported in the reviews especially during a week day, the decor issues are something I need to sit the owner down and get him to take on these jobs but glad you enjoyed the pub, thanks

喜欢: Lovely pitches but very tight for larger motorhomes.
Road noise could be a problem for light sleepers.
Pub was cozy and staff very friendly.
Sunday Dinner (prepared by Steve) was to die for.
when my family arrived on Easter Sunday we tried lots of items on the menu and every on was spot on and large meals . You will not be disappointed.
Pub has alarge sun trap garden and dogs are allowed everywhere.

喜欢: Pub right next door to campsite, served food which was delicious . Small and quaint site which does met needs for campers though toilet & shower could do with sprucing up a bit.
Country side all around with nice walks.
Overall well worth the pitchfees.

来自经理: Thanks for your review, yes the traffic is always worse mid week and does calm down over the weekend, they are many reviews stating the traffic noise and we don’t hide the fact but there are also many that don’t find it a issue.

喜欢: Practical facilities including warm water for washing up and really warm showers. Every pitch came with its' bench and the pub was also great with a local ale or IPA available.
