Found on a Cheshire sheep farm 10 minutes’ drive from the buzzy little town of Knutsford, Greenfields Campsite is a top choice for anyone wanting to combine a cosy holiday in a wooden shepherd’s hut with views over the surrounding farmland. Prettily done up with a rural theme, the hut has a well-equipped kitchen (all the basics and more are there), bunk beds for sleeping and a bathroom with shower. Outside there’s covered decking for chilling, watching the sheep (and lambs in spring) in neighbouring fields and admiring the sunset on clear days. The village of Lower Peover (two minutes’ drive/15 minutes’ walk) has a handy shop and two pubs serving excellent food and beers. You can also source picnic treats from the handy village shop in Goostrey (10 minutes). Knutsford is the spot for nosing around trendy boutiques, and it’s got more than its fair share of pubs and cafés if you fancy a night out. Dogs are permitted – in fact, they get their own welcome pack of treats – while kids get complimentary marshmallows to roast over the campfire (logs and firelighters are available to buy on site).

喜欢 So many things to like from the initial communication, immediately after booking, to the rhubarb and rose hand soap in one of these beautiful toilets. Super friendly owners, fantastic facilities, signposting to local amenities such as the local shop, walking routes and even chemist. There was a basket of toys, suitable to play with on the large grass area. Whole site was immaculately clean and well maintained.
Safe fire pits at each pitch ensured that campers could have a fire, roast marshmallows (provided by the owners) and stay cosy.
Such a wonderful location. Will definitely be back.

喜欢 It was very beautiful stay for our first time using our tent. We got an excellent service from the staffs and very kind. We are able to do campfire with proper setup and enjoyed a lot. Toilet and other facilities are very clean and well maintained. No insects or bugs during night time.

喜欢 What an amazing place. Stayed for one night with our son and niece, provided with marshmallows on arrival lovely touch! Field is massive and we love how there was plenty of space for the children to be children and the fire just made camping what it should be, thank you very much!

喜欢 Owners were really friendly and accomodating. Toilet and shower facilities were clean and tidy. Owners came around with fire wood for the individual fire pits on each pitch. Great location 10 min drive to a shop and 15 min walk to the pub. Cannot fault our stay and would definitely like to stay here again!
