喜欢 Perfect location for walkers/cyclists wanting easy access to the dales.
We were initially concerned about the proximity of the site to the A65 but, even over a busy bank holiday weekend there was very little road noise.
Beautiful views over rolling countryside from every pitch.
Facilities are basic but immaculate.
不喜欢 Depending on wind direction, can be quite exposed.

来自经理: Thank you for your review . We are a small site and try and make it clear that we do not have toilet or shower facilities. We do provide electricity and water to each & lighting to each pitch along with a hard standing and grass area. There is also chemical & grey waste water disposal. We are a small site that offers an alternative to the noise & activity that is often an issue on larger sites. We are also very conveniently placed to explore the Yorkshire Dales , the Three Peaks and the local area.

喜欢 Location. Great views across the fields and hills near Austwick. A short walk across the field and stepping stones to Austwick village. Another easy walk directly behind the site. We thought it might be noisy, being close to the A65, but it was actually quieter than some sites further away where you hear a more or less constant roar of traffic. You only hear vehicles as they pass the entrance. Very peaceful with only 5 pitches. All fully serviced too.
不喜欢 Nothing of any consequence, as long as you are aware that there is no toilet & shower block.

来自经理: Dear Rita , thank you for your review. We are relatively close to the A65 which is great for access to the Dales without the added pressure of navigating the narrow country lanes. There can be road noise in the daytime so I am sorry if that was a slight issue for you. The far side of the site is on lower ground and shielded from the road on pitches 2-5 which maybe an option if you visit us in the future. We do not advertise that we have Wi Fi as we are quite rural and the signal can be quite weak .

喜欢 This was our first night away in our new camper, we have had caravans in the past but this is a new adventure. We found Crooklands to be a well kept and tidy site, there was also a water point and a light on each electric hook up post. Steve was so friendly and hospitable, if you needed any help he would definitely be there to assist. Even though the pitches are near to the road, the traffic did not disturb us. The views across the fields were beautiful.

喜欢 Lovely clean little site away from the madding crowd with great views over the beautiful countryside. Five even gravel pitches with water and electric hook-up and a neat grassed area for your table and chairs. Owner Steve was super helpful and friendly when I had a small mishap with my caravan (first time out on my own😳) and even gave me some duck tape to go!
