喜欢 Fantastic welcome when we arrived, lovely clean site with great, clean facilities. The swimming pond was a welcome surprise.
Fire pits available for hire or just bring your own. Site managers checked in on all campers periodically and made sure noise rules were adhered to. Great value for money.

喜欢 Clean and beautifully kept campsite with friendly and helpful staff and great facilities. Loved the swim spots.

Toilets and showers spacious and very useful.

Water to swim around in.

不喜欢 Nothing! Can get windy but that's not the campsite's fault of course

喜欢 Stayed last night as a solo camper with my dog,was warmly welcomed by the site owner. On my own with a new tent he came by to check if I was ok and offer help if needed which was wonderful.
The Site is lovely, love the small lakes you can have a swim in. The views are wonderful and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. I felt very safe at all times and will definitely be returning :)

喜欢 Spacious, well maintained, clean

不喜欢 No hair dryer or socket for hair dryer. Feel like this would be beneficial, especially for colder nights where wet hair is not ideal.

Tad expensive for a solo traveller at £30 a night with no electricity.

喜欢 Access to a footpath with goes straight into Skipton with gorgeous views and opportunities for the dog to be off lead. Swimming opportunities in the lakes. Get to choose your own pitch. Relaxed feeling. Opportunity to book the Sauna if you wanted.

不喜欢 There’s not many toilets/showers if the site was full. The kitchen area is very small.

The site is young so I can imagine in a couple of years when all the trees and hedges planted have grown it will look amazing! The water in the lakes will need time for the sediment to settle- or perhaps water cleaning plants added.

来自经理: Thanks for your comments, as yet even when we have been full we have managed it well, but we will deal with issue when and if they arise. The water is tested and havent come across any problems. They are all natural built lakes, built from clay .😊

喜欢 Far and away the best campsite in the area. It's a big and beautiful site with plenty of room and not everyone packed in like sardines like other campsites round here. The lakes are gorgeous and if you are an open swimmer they are positively thermal compared to the river. Really warm welcome from staff and we loved the private grounds at the back of the site to walk the dog. A perfect weekend. We can't wait to come for longer.
