喜欢 Absolutely lovely campsite. Just what we wanted. As close to wild camping as you can get with a lovely clean toilet.
The farm is so charming and the animals are wonderful. If you love beautiful views, animals and fresh air you’ll love this place. I fell in love with the pet sheep they were such characters. So many ways to ground yourself and get back to nature.
A real gem!
Great place to escape the modern world. I sat and painted the beautiful hills, great art retreat!

喜欢 Loved the remote location and views from the camping field. The 'proper' toilet and sink were a nice surprise. Plus tap water is available from a hose next to the toilet for any washing pots etc.

We loved Brown Moor Farm, we were lucky to be only one of two tents staying the night we were there and had a vantage spot over looking a great view. We received a warm welcome and would come back next year.

We were able to bring our own disposable barbecue and bricks were available to stand it on (no extra charges for this unlike some sites who make you pay to use one of their firepits/barbecues!)

不喜欢 The field where you camp is sloping so you are unlikely to find a flat pitch. There are no showers so it is back to basics (this wasn't a problem for us as we were only staying one night but it's worth flagging up if you want to stay longer!)

喜欢 For me, this place what camping is all about. Stunning views, wildlife, peace and quiet. Back to basics camping done right. Owners are very welcoming.

Also check out the Jolly Farmer 5 mins drive away, great country pub.

喜欢 Me & my daughter stayed here last night & what a wonderful hidden gem not far from home. We couldn’t fault anything, from a warm welcome on arrival to a beautiful location to spend the night with fantastic views.
The outdoor toilet facilities were lovely and clean and were a nice little luxury to this more wild camping style experience.
We will definitely be returning.

喜欢 Beautiful views from everywhere on the field. We parked up and were greater by some hens which the girls loved and then followed the sign through the little woods to find the most beautiful view of the valley! It’s a basic site but honestly the view can’t be beaten. Even being in a shed, the toilet was clean. The girls loved seeing the ponies in the field next to us and watching the cows walk along the fence line in the other neighbouring field. The owners were also very friendly!
My pictures don’t do the location justice. There isn’t much light pollution either so the stars were amazing, my husband even saw a shooting star.

喜欢 We had an excellent time here, upon arrival we met the lady owner who showed us to the camp area,very helpful and the views from the camp site are beautiful, it is a very quiet site with some beautiful short trails into the surrounds, the toilet in the shed is an excellent idea and is kept clean,take a peg hammer and suitable pegs with you it can be pretty tough ground in places but this wasn't a problem, I loved the small woodland area you go thru before arriving at the site and the views again were very impressive such a beautiful part of the world.. We will definetly be back.. There is a trolley at the carpark to make use of taking your camping gear to your pitch we really liked that idea aswell.. Absolute delight to have spent 2 nights here..
