East Anglia bound and looking for a peaceful and cosy hideaway tucked away from the hassle of everyday life? Step forward Holton Huts, a small pop-up site five minutes’ drive from the market town of Halesworth, and within easy reach of seaside towns like Southwold (15 minutes’ drive) and pristine beaches including Covehithe (20 minutes) on the Suffolk Heritage Coast.
Best suited to single guests, couples or small families with up to two children, the comfy wooden shepherd’s huts are purpose built, self-catering and set on a tree-shaded three-acre plot, surrounded by nature and farms, yet close to amenities and services.
Each hut is simply furnished, blending comfy elements with modern touches – a comfortable bed, a dining area, a bathroom with shower, basin and loo, and a well-equipped kitchen that has all the essentials. All bed linen and towels are provided, and there are barbecue facilities and picnic tables in private garden areas as well. Halesworth has shops and supermarkets, as well as cafés, pubs and takeaways if you’d rather abandon the cooking altogether.
