喜欢 The pitches are really spread out so the place is peaceful and we were able to relax and enjoy the views. The toilets were clean and tidy. There is a lovely pub you can walk to in a couple of minutes. Eva was so kind and helpful and recommend an excellent farm shop for breakfast.

喜欢 Fantastic site that we’ve used a number of times. Local for us so great for getting away with the kids for a couple of nights. We’ve also taken our dogs with us before too.
The thing that draws me back to this site more than anything is the sheer amount of space you get per pitch!
Eva is readily available to support her guest should she be needed and is the absolute perfect host! We were very grateful for her assistance when needed and her warm, welcome. Watching her greet all her guest individually whilst she was on site was a nice touch! We wish her all the success in the world!

不喜欢 Due to the reckless behaviours of others, you are now no longer able to drive up to the furthest pitch on the site to offload your camping gear! It’s our favourite spot, but too far to be using a wheelbarrow for multiple runs from the car back to take up all our gear! I understand why she’s had to put this in place but it does restrict where you can pitch, and up out of the way gives us the quieter experience that we enjoy which is unfortunate for us.

喜欢 Lovely location, pitched up by the brook with a great view. Novelty twin toilet cabins were an amusing surprise.

喜欢 Peace & quiet. Really friendly host & spot on site for us. We like basic, as long as there is a loo! We are happy. Was quite busy, but no disturbances from other campers. Like the 10pm quiet time, keeps things sensible. Nice pub in walking distance too.

喜欢 Lovely scenery, hosts came to check in during the evening and give ideas of what to do in the area. Pantry was a great finishing touch to the area.

I think adding a toilet block to pitch area 10/11 would be a great addition to the set up!

不喜欢 Group of young people arriving just before 9pm with a big speaker, they were up quite late although thankfully didn’t have their music too loud.

Some guests did not respect the toilets on site and didn’t clean up after themselves (thank god for anti bac wipes)

喜欢 The very spacious pitch size. The
attentive campsite owner Ava who checked on us several times to make sure we were ok.
The compost toilets were kept nice and clean.
The campsite vibe was really friendly.
The 12.30pm checkout time.

不喜欢 I was hoping to be able to park my car next to my pitch while I unloaded. It did state that cars were only allowed in the car park and I did assume this. There were pitches next to the car park and we chose one of those. I also saw others using a wheel barrow that I assume was available to borrow to help transport peoples items.

喜欢 I had a wonderful experience! The communication was excellent both verbally from the friendly staff Eva and helpful signage across the site, making it easy to navigate and follow guidelines. Checking in was smooth and easy.

The space was clean and well-maintained, with tidy facilities and a lovely pantry area stocked with essentials. The overall atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Will definitely be returning!
