Cadora Woods Glamping sits in the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with fantastic countryside views from luxuriously appointed, hand-built lodgings. The setting is incredibly peaceful, with amazing Gloucestershire views and fantastic walks (bring the dogs too) right from your new front door. Each accommodation has a king-size bed (duvet and bedding provided), towels, two chairs and a woodburning stove on the interior – and on the exterior a table, chairs and barbecue for your own cosy family meal times. Close by are your private bathrooms (with a welcoming hot shower and complimentary toiletries), as well as an indoor and outdoor kitchen with a gas stove and fridge. A thoughtful extra for those odd rainy days is a lounge with a woodburner, board games and honesty shop where you can pick up fresh eggs, home-green veg and stuff to make dinner, all tucked away inside a former aircraft hangar. If you fancy going out for lunch, there are four pubs within 90-minutes’ walk. Requiring a car, but still within 20 minutes, is the untamed Forest of Dean, which offers up lots of walks and mountain bike tracks – and sporty types, there is excellent rock climbing and kayaking along the Wye river (15 minutes), as well as golf, riding and clay-pigeon shooting (all 10 minutes’ drive).

Lovely little Shepherds hut.
Quiet and relaxing. Facilities all good.
If you like quiet and serene it's ideal.
Wood burner kept the hut nice and toasty.
Camping but easier ...perfect Glamping.

不喜欢 Single track road to the site was a bit of a nightmare - trying to reverse in the dark was a pain. Not really the Cadora's fault be something to be aware of.

Individual shower/toilet. Had a communal fire place and gas hob&kitchen!

Lovely scenery
Good toilet and shower facilities.
Good outdoor phone signal, we are with EE, if that helps.
Shared kitchen with fridge and cutlery provided.
Cabin's are very well insulated, very warm in summer but can imagine that they are fantastic in winter.
Indoor wood burner (too warm to use but looked great)
Outdoor seating area for each pod.
Really good local pubs, great food.

不喜欢 Insects (not the owners fault)
The bed did creek quite a bit.
Breakfast was a glass tub of cereal (not our normal go to breakfast but may suit others)
Flooring in our cabin was not great for our dog, varnished wooden flooring was very slippery.
No walks directly accessible from site, you need to drive for the nearest trail.

喜欢 Beautiful spot which is definitely off the beaten track. The bed was very comfortable, if you like peace and quiet this is the right place to come. The shower was great and everything was very clean. Definitely recommend this site for couples and solo travellers.
