South View Farm Camping

喜欢 We stayed for one night, and it was a great experience. I visited with my 7yo daughter, and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect short getaway. The site was well kept, with clean toilets that were regularly checked, and I appreciated washing up facilities, small touches that made a big difference.

Jade, the owner, was fantastic-friendly, helpful, and welcoming. She checked in with us when we arrived and again before we left, which really added a personal touch.

喜欢 We’ve camped at this site twice before and even then we loved the site and the cleanest portaloo toilets but coming here almost a year later and the toilets have had a huge revamp! Not just 2 now but 4 actual toilet blocks with sinks and mirrors and this made a huge difference to us! They are constantly kept clean and the washing up area has now 2 sink stations not 1 which makes a difference too! Jade is so accommodating on arrival we text asking for wood and kindling and she is quick at replying and getting that to us! There’s signs and maps for walks and pubs and the area which is lovely! We did our own walk from the trails app but the surrounding area is beautiful! The campsite looks out over stunning views and we watched low planes going to land at Manchester airport! This year was a new addition of a farm cat which was so friendly and fussy we had to share our bbq food couldnt resist! We said from the start this is our go to campsite and we would recommend anyone to go here 🥰

喜欢 We absolutely loved this campsite. The location is great, lots of great pubs within a short drive and walk. The views are fantastic. Lots of space for our tent, with different fields to choose from.

The facilities was some of the best we’ve had, kept spotlessly clean and lots of handy little touches that made life that little bit easier (hand soap, tissue paper, toilet roll, washing up liquid).

Jade was so accommodating, always ensuring we was OK and looking after us. Thank you, Jade.

As much as I’d like to bring my mates here, I think it’s great that single-sex bookings were not allowed. It really kept it quiet after 10/11, which is exactly what you want in a couple or with a family.

Can’t wait to return!

喜欢 Fantastic views.
Plenty of space.
Very friendly and committed host (Jade).
Super clean toilets and wash area.

不喜欢 Large and thoughtless / selfish party of chavs making a lot of noise until after 02:30 in morning (no fault of the owners - but it marred our enjoyment of one night all the same).
Local pub / resto served amazing quality food but was seriously pricey.
No hot water.

喜欢 Lovely campsite in a beautiful location. The toilet blocks and washing up area were very well kept and clean and we really liked the idea of the honesty box.
