The welcome on arrival even though it was thundering and raining, Andrew opened the gates and showed us to our pitch and informed us where water/electric and Elsan were.
Both Andrew and Sonia were very polite and took time to chat when we saw them.
The pitches are spacious and well kept.
The little helpful hut was full of local information.
Peacocks were adorable(from next door) and walked around freely.
Bus stop around the corner for York/Selby.
Thank you for a peaceful and pleasant stay will most definitely be returning

Owner, Andrew, was first class. Meet and greet was excellent. Explained everything and showed us to our pitch.
Site was extremely well kept and organised. Nice touch with the information shed.
Bus stop for travelling into York or surrounding places, which we would have used if dogs not with us.

This is only because of our situation but too far for our dogs to walk to any fields, and would have liked to have a village shop or pub closer to site.

Had 3 nights on the Bungalow Park and enjoyed the stay. Very quiet at night, site immaculate, owner couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.

Friendly welcome on arrival with everything I needed pointed out on the site. Well maintained throughout.

Some traffic noise as it’s by the roadside however not off putting for me.

A great site in a good location for nearby attractions, the owner meeted and greeted us on arrival an gave us lots of information to enjoy during our stay, also has a onsite information shed with leaflets of local tourism places to visit, bus time tables, taxi's etc and books, dvds, games to use too, bus stop right outside an hourly bus service. Large pitches and well spaced of which the owner let us pick our own pitch to set up on. We had a full day and night in York, the shambles, shops, pubs, another day at local car boot sale then designer outlet, and last day the York railway museum, lots more to visit too but need more days away to get in all in lol.

Nothing its a great site and we had a great 3 night bank holiday away thanks

Perfect little gem of a site you will not be disappointed staying here our first time but definitely not the last will be back.

Spacious level pitches. Cleanest Elsan I've seen. Perfectly cut grass. Friendly owner. Peaceful. Bus stop right by the entrance. Helpful hut which includes bus timetables taxi numbers pubs shops walks. Book swap too. Road noise might annoy some during the day but not us. Nights very quiet. Plenty birds to see including red kites. If you're lucky you might also get a visit from next doors peacocks to your van.

just spent 11 nights at the Bungalow a really peaceful and quiet site , well spaced pitches and the owner Andrew is very helpful and explained where everything was. although we didnt use them, there are, just outside the site bus stops to York and the Designer outlet a useful addition. would highly recommend and will be returning.
