Location to york. Beautiful surroundings. Very friendly site owner who was welcoming and informative.

Nothing else around unless you are on a bus which run every two hours (or a taxi) but for a location to york it is a perfect stay.

owner met us on arrival and suggested pitches we could use, also turning caravan round to have a filed view rather than the site.

Andrew greeted us at the gate to show us to our pitch, advised on the site facilities and information about the local bus service, there is a stop outside the site which was great for going into York for the day. The site was the most peaceful site we have been to it is also impeccably clean and tidy. Will definitely return.

Everything! - Genuinely there was nothing to dislike about this site.
Clean & clearly well kept, with a welcoming host and a bus stop right outside for travel to York.
Power & water was easily accessible plus we had a mini soak away for our grey water at the end of the pitch.
I cannot think of anything to complain about that the site / owners were responsible for (a neighbour with yapping dogs is not the site owner’s responsibility).

Frustrated by rather than disliked & that was a neighbour who believed we should love their yapping dogs as much as they did. Luckily it was only a short time impacted (& they only stayed 1 night).

Everything about this little site was perfect. It's immaculately clean , the owner was so friendly. The pitches are nice and level and the site is peaceful. It's the best site we've ever stayed on

Everything about this site, from the owners to the pitches, the area. Excellent, bus stop right outside to get into York, don't even need to use your car for the stay. Designer outlet on the same road think it was 5 miles away.
Pitches we were on grass had all facilities needed really good size, we were twin axle caravan and awning plenty of room.
Plenty of local wildlife to see and enhance your stay.
The information hut had every detail you needed from bus timetable to taxi information to takeaways nothing too much trouble. 100% recommend this site.
