Понравилось The swimming pool. The onsite food truck. The shop. The animals.

Не понравилось The pitches were on a slope. Had trouble getting shower to correct temperature had to shower in cold water twice. Compared when I last visited it looked a little tired. Lots of weeds on the pitches bits of rubbish on the paths. The coffee machine in reception needed a good clean. Lots of roads closed making it difficult to get around (not their fault I know ) but added to the overall impression

Понравилось Friendly hosts very clean. Level Pitches. We were not in fully serviced but water was available close by and disposal of waste was easy to do both chemical and grey waste. Nice bar in site food was excellent. Pool was great.

Не понравилось Had to queue for shower at peak times but just swapped to go later in day.

Понравилось Fabulous hosts very welcoming. Good facilities lovely hot water. WiFi was amazing. Fabulous to have a washing machine available. Ideal position for walking with or without a dog. All round great site.

Не понравилось Slight noise from trains but soon got used to it.

Понравилось Clean toilets

Не понравилось No one there to guide us to our pitch and no arrival envelope as we lead to believe. The owners were not there and another person staying at appledore told us where to pitch. No answer on phone listed in email in fact it appeared to be unable to take calls. No one came to see us and ask if we were ok The flies were everywhere intact 2 days later we are still finding them in our windows not a good stay. It was quiet and close to okehampton but not the quality of site I was given to believe from reviews luckily we were only there for one night toilets and showers were very clean

Понравилось Really great welcome fabulous pitches very clean and modern facilities. Great awareness of Covid and policies. We felt very safe. Pool is amazing Overall one of the best places we have ever stayed

Понравилось Fabulous toilets and shower lovely and warm. Mostly flat pitches and great views. Lady in pub very friendly gave a warm welcome Nice and quiet at night good tv reception

Понравилось Lovely flat quiet site really close to fabulous pub with great food. Great welcome by hosts. All amenities available ehu elsan etc I believe there’s tv also but we arrived in dark and didn’t realise.

Не понравилось Only 1 toilet and shower but we were only one night so we managed

Понравилось Great clean toilets lovely information at reception friendly wardens massive plus free WiFi as no phone signal

Не понравилось Very isolated and pub not serving food during our stay which was very upsetting as this was the reason we had booked this site so i didn’t have to cook

Не понравилось Al the pitches on a slope the turning circle was small and a mud bath, in fact the whole site was axle deep mud. We have a motor home and this was totally unsuitable as on a slope and very muddy, perhaps needs to be a summer site. As we didn't stay we are not able to comment on the rest of the facilities. completely unsuitable for our needs despite the booking site saying suitable for motorhome very disappointed as our first trip in our new vehicle.

От менеджера: The whole site is NOT deep in axle mud otherwise all the other caravans booked would have had a problem. Sorry you were not very confident with your brand new camper van & couldn't stay & see the great location hope you have plenty of nice holidays in it & review other sites more positively !
