Понравилось Lovely and peaceful, the warden always make you feel welcome. The food in the clubhouse is second to none.

Понравилось Lovely clean quiet site. Food was amazing.

Не понравилось Struggled logging into the wifi with it being rural but didn't affect our stay at all.

Понравилось From the moment we got there we were made to feel welcome. Julie the owner was making burgers on the barbecue which were delicious. The small pub on site is great and we actually won the music quiz on the Saturday night ( first time for everything haha). The site is lovely and the showers/toilets are spotless. We go away to different campsites nearly every weekend but this is one we will definitely be returning too.

Понравилось Pitches were ok. Lady at reception on arrival was lovely.

Не понравилось How has no-one said anything about the road noise, It was constant morning, noon, and night it was busier than the A1!!. We only booked after reading the reviews that said it was quiet.

Понравилось Lovely area of the country, a nice peaceful campsite.

Не понравилось There is only 2 toilets with showers so I found myself waiting numerous times to use them. The pub that is on the site is only open from exactly 1830 not a minute earlier. We were told that there would be a 45min wait for food as it is cooked fresh we had a main and a desert, and were in there 2hrs and there was only 4 other couples in there, also my wife doesn't like vanilla ice cream so we asked if she could have the caramel ice cream one off one of the other dishes but was told no, not very accommodating. Something for the owners to look into.

От менеджера: Thank you so much for your fabulous review. The pub opens at 6.30pm. the staff come in to set up for that time they work to set tables etc., so nobody can serve you until 6.30. Simple. Your order was one of the first in and they are all timed all orders as they arrive on my table have the time written on them . Yes all food is cooked to order and it is approx 45mins unless you want Scampi & chips. If you felt you could not wait for freshly home cooked food, well you could have had a starter that would have eased the wait. I have checked my bookings for that night and yours I was full as in ten tables plus those eating outside. I do not serve anything other than vanilla ice cream, not a cheap one either, but I offer a range of sauces, as in chocolate, caramel. strawberry, can have all 3 if you wish. Sorry that you had to put up with being in here 2 hours. My staff are very accommodating and polite and I stand by that totally. Ps I am the owner and I do not need to look into it. Thank you for not wanting to come back.

Понравилось We stayed here from Friday until Monday as my brother was getting married in Leyburn on Saturday. We've never been to a site where the staff and fellow campers have been so helpful and friendly ,Tony and Babara, who run the site, will go out of their way to help you. We were using my father in laws camper which he had just bought. It came with an awning, which didn't have any pegs with it, paul (who we had just met) in the next caravan to us kindly borrowed us some pegs and a mallet. My wife and I have never put an awning up, and two ladies' opposite could see were struggling 🤔 came over and helped us. Finally, we can sit down and have a beer. On Saturday we were struggling to get a taxi to the wedding and back from the reception which was in nearby Hunton. One of the permanent residents, Brian, heard we needed a lift and came to our rescue 😊. The grounds are well maintained, and the facilities are clean looked after. It you want a quiet getaway with lovely people, this is the place to go, we will definitely be returning probably in a different campervan, though 😄.
