Понравилось Quiet, secluded, peaceful site, with clean amenities, with one of the best showers that we have ever seen on a campsite

Не понравилось It's good to get back to nature, but my god- if I had a gun- I would have shot a few crows!! They were so noisy from about 4am!! Not the campsites fault- so not really a negative for them

Понравилось Brilliant sea views, peace and quiet, large site so you can choose your own pitch, friendly owners who kept the facilities spotlessly clean.

Понравилось Great site, nice clean facilities, hot showers (20p for 7 mins), clear display of where to go when you arrive and where you are able to pitch up- in the evening we were visited by a little hedgehog outside our tent

Не понравилось Showers have no benches, so nowhere really to put your stuff other than 2 hooks. The site advertises that there is a pub onsite, we planned to eat there on the evening of our arrival- but the pub is shut on Mondays so we had no food with us to cook- also the local shop shuts at 5pm

Понравилось Loved the site, stayed in one of the shepards huts- a great stay, very relaxing- the onsite bar was really nice too 👍 Even had good WI-FI signal at the top of the field 😀

Не понравилось We, along with others had to leave early due to the bad weather, but no offer of refund or return stay voucher, this I feel is bad management,and something which would stop me returning in the future. We have never experienced wind like we did that night, and to see so many tents collapsed with broken poles and ripped tents was something we never want to experience again.

От менеджера: Thank you very much for your review of our holiday park. We are so glad that everything we could do to help your holiday we managed, unfortunately Mother Nature doesn't work quite to plan. We really do not like to see flattened tents at any time of the year but find it hard to find a solution. The BBC, local radio, Sky News etc etc had predicted the storms for most of the week so we assume those that book a pitch on the clifftops of Cardigan bay would all be aware of such storms approaching, as it wasn't a surprise but well publicised. We found a lot of people decided to stay overnight, even after the wardens had spent most of the evening walking around, speaking to campers to remind them about the well forecast storm approaching. Lots of people had packed up and left before we had started work on the morning of the storm. Not all tents had fallen in the breeze, some are constructed to withstand the winds we had and they stayed throughout there allotted holiday time, some holiday makers did heed our prompting to check the weather report and did leave prior to the winds arriving. Those holiday makers who visited the reception to enquire about a refund were offered refunds and most have re booked to return. Thank you for mentioning the weather and what can happen to tents on the coast if the wind does pick up, we try to mention this in the park description and we do leave other guests reviews published so everyone can make their choice of whether to stay or not. Не понравилось We arrived on the Saturday of the august bank holiday weekend. The site was rammed- there are only 2 toilet cubicles and 2 showers for tourers and campers this is woefully inadequate, throughout the weekend the facilities were dirty and toilets blocked. To be honest they were completely disgusting and I'm sure if there were to be a health and safety inspection when the site is full the campsite would be shut down. The site has a club, which was full on both nights we went in, with no seating at all spare. If they are trying to attract more people they need to increase capacity. The swimming pool was cold and could do with a thorough deep clean. There is no shop- a site this size needs a shop even if it only stocks essential items. It rained during our stay- the camping field becomes a mudbath- this could be rectified by graveling the road all the way to the middle of the field. And finally we were fortunate when we arrived that we found a last pitch in the main field- if we were an hour later we would have ended up in the field on the left - where the grass was overgrown and was basically a horse field
