Понравилось Facilities were wonderful and never crowded, despite it being the height of the summer. Loved the free onsite entertainment and the Curry food truck on Sunday was a Brucie Bonus 🙌 staff were really helpful and friendly.

Понравилось A lovely site with flat pitches and well appointed toilet blocks and facilities. This is always our go to for an Eryri trip. Also very much enjoyed the Tipsy Trailer too!

Понравилось We stayed last year around this time and did not hesitate to book when we returned this year. Perfect for our overnight stay and felt safe and secure with the main gate shut overnight as we were the only visitors. It is dark in places, as the site description says, but a collection of PIR lights meant the walk to the toilet and showers was actually quite well lit. Nice and clean shower block with toasty warm showers and appreciated the free hairdryer too. Next time we’re back down south, we’ll definitely return.

Понравилось This was a lovely site, well situated for Inverness and NC500. There’s no reception on site, just find your own pitch and settle in (there’s a number to call if needed and actually they were on site when we were there). Lovely spaces out pitches, flat, and private. Good facilities, including a well thought out motor home and chemical loo disposal points and warm ‘ensuite’ loos and showers.

Не понравилось Not a dislike as such, you can hear some road noise during the day but this didn’t bother us at night at all. Also it would be great if all the loo/shower doors showed if they were locked as some didn’t , but again, it’s just a suggestion.

Понравилось Peaceful location, level pitch and great facilities. We happened to be pitched right next to the aid station for an event happening that weekend, but as we were also taking part, we didn’t mind at all :-)

Не понравилось Not the campsites fault but the EE mobile mast was down and we were unable to reach the warden to check in at 7 pm

Понравилось The site was just what we needed - somewhere to park up the campervan with good clean and modern toilet/shower facilities. It took a little while for the shower to warm up but my patience was rewarded! Pre-arrival instructions were helpful - the only addition I can suggest is advising which of the water taps is operational (we should have checked this before it got dark LOL). Loved that although we were very close to ‘civilisation’ the owls were busy talking to each other in the evening.

Не понравилось The only thing I can put here is that we gave up wrestling with the small pedestrian gate to go down to reception and facilities and used the track and larger gate instead - it felt v close to pitch 1 and their enthusiastic puppy had muddied one set of clean clothes so daren’t risk the other, no matter how cute it was :-)

Понравилось Pitches are flat and spaced out. The communal block is really useful, especially in inclement weather! Amanda was super helpful when we arrived late to find people had parked cars on our pitch - soon sorted, thank you!

Понравилось The site was very secure (almost felt too secure!) with coded gate access on entrance and exit. Our hardstanding pitch was near the entrance so all facilities were close at hand - always a bonus! There seemed to be a lot of long stay residents here with semi permanent set ups and as such I probably wouldn’t stay for a longer break here, but it was perfect for an overnight stop and the hardstanding pitch was ideal.

Не понравилось Purely because I’m a numpty, I didn’t realise there was an access code in an attachment to the booking confirmation email and it would have been better to include this with our pitch reference in the actual email itself (the first attachment I opened on my phone didn’t display properly so I didn’t bother opening the others) but the lady who answered my call out of hours was very helpful, thank you.

Понравилось This was a spacious, peaceful site, well situated for Tenby and Saundersfoot. I particularly liked that Dominos delivered here :-) Yes, the toilets are a little dated, but they were clean, all operational and supplied proper quality loo roll (instead of that cheap thin stuff) . The showers were lovely and warm with plenty of space. Great recycling facilities, also shared fridge and freezer if required. Given the changeable Welsh weather, I should have brought some 20p coins for the dryer! Dishwashing sinks provided washing up liquid and sponges. Couldn’t ask for anything else.

Понравилось The plentiful facilities on site and by complete chance, the fact that it was actually on the route of the race we were in Snowdonia for! We also really liked the secure feeing of the site, on site catering, and the friendly welcome.

Понравилось Oh my. Last time I chose a site with a composting toilet, I was NOT popular. But thanks to Thorning Farm, I have redeemed myself. The site is in a remote but breathtakingly beautiful location. The pitches are very generously sized and well spaced out. We’d originally booked a standard pitch (private funky composting loo, picnic bench, fire pit, shared shower and dishwashing), which we stayed for a night (and were perfectly happy) and were thrilled to be able to upgrade after a last minute cancellation to an electric hook up - same as above but private shower, dishwashing and shelter (AKA bike shed LOL). Yes, the driveway is a bit rustic, but it’s a farm! The hot water was toasty, the views just stunning and a huge stretch of deserted beach accessible down the coastal path was brilliant. The limited number of pitches meant it was also quite peaceful. Even in the wind and rain! Carly was so helpful and accommodating, helping to make a wonderful stay.

Понравилось This was a charming, away from it all place. John was really helpful and the back to nature style was great. If you like all your modcons, this is not the place for you. Loved the rustic toilets, and the shower was lovely and warm with a superb view. Even at bank holiday weekend it wasn’t crowded or noisy. No Internet, no light pollution, fabulous views. The fields are undulating but plenty of space to find a patch to suit your needs and the entrance was well signed (also loved the cheery hand written instructions and the organic soap smelled fantastic!). An open air trough for hand and dishwashing was ideal. Only sorry we couldn’t stay longer to try some of the local produce! Easy walk to the coastal path from the site and half an hour into the harbour (but uphill on the way back!) Also look out for seals in the bays as you walk along the coastal path.

Не понравилось Nothing - but would if I had to suggest one thing, please could we have some hooks in the shower? :-)
