We are currently upgrading and refurbishing our shower/toilet block which has been in progress for a few weeks, certainly not a year as you have mentioned.
As we are developing our residential side of the park I'm afraid that diggers etc is inevitable however we do our utmost to ensure there is minimum disruption to our campers.

In reply to your comments regarding organisation, when you check in you are given maps of the pitches, pitch numbers, we also have road signs pointing you in the direction of the camping field, all which is explained by our receptionists on arrival.

Our few hardstanding pitches are due to be relaid by our ground staff during the winter months.
Unfortunately in order to provide some toilet/shower facilities whilst we are renovating we have no alterantive but to close several in the process.
We do hope you will visit again in the future once our renovations have been completed.

Lovely residential lodge development going on, one of the prettiest anc nicely maintained I've seen. Pitches all along the river and others on the grass field.
Не понравилось: hardstanding pitches were rough made of broken slabs and gravel were not attractive, grass pitches were probably better. building works around the pond for the new residential lodges meant noise from machinery by the pond and toilet block. Toilets were adequate but water damaged, half were being renovated so hopefully this will improve. The building works interfered with the general attractiveness of the site. That said, I would visit again as a short stopover as very convenient and pretty surrounding area.

We are currently in the process of renovating/refurbishing the toilet and shower facilities and we do apologise for any incovenience this may have caused during your stay.
The hardstanding pitches are also due to be redone by our ground staff.
With regards to the building works we do try and keep this to a minimum and avoid any weekend work if at all possible.
