What a fantastic site and highly recommended. The site is spacious and excellent for all age groups. The limit on the number of pitches gives you a sense of space and privacy. Younger kids will have lots to do as there is so much to explore, from the Fairy Village to watching steam trains pass by (there is a track through the woods that will take you to Highley station where you'll get a great view of the steam trains pulling away). The facilities are just right for the number of pitches, well maintained and spotless. Jess was incredibly helpful on our arrival and made us feel very welcome. Although the site seems fairly close to a built up area don't worry about it, as it is very peaceful and could be in the middle of nowhere. In the evening we had a lovely walk along the River Severn via the Ship Inn which is only 10 minutes walk away. I have to say I was in two minds about posting a review as this site is a great find and I wanted to keep it a secret, but that wouldn't be fair would it? We had a very relaxing stay in great surroundings with no fuss and plenty of chilling - just what we needed.

Huge campsite with apparent limits on numbers allowed to book in so lots of space and nice and quiet. Fire pits for hire. Children's play areas. No WiFi!

Toilet block quite small for the number of guests but nice and clean. Toilet paper ran out in the morning but fortunately we had our own.
