Lovely site. Great facilities. Quiet and peaceful. Arrived by bike with my Lab and enjoyed a great nights sleep.

Layout was really good, liked the car free, flat pitches and hideaways. Clean toilets and hot shower. Kettle in wash up area was a bonus and the communal hub area was really nice.

The site was vast and campers were well spread out, meaning we had plenty of space to enjoy the serene local nature. We ordered a fire pit and enjoyed sitting out in the evenings watching the stars and listening to the sounds of nocturnal wildlife.
Facilities were better than most campsites nowadays (flushing toilets, hot water to wash up and a hot shower!). Location was great and we went to the local pub The Ship Inn one night for dinner (a 10 minute walk through the woods).
Great for kids who could roam around, make new friends and have fun on the rope swing. Lots of fun little carvings dotted around and woodland themed figurines (including a fairy village).
In easy walking distance of the village or a short drive to nearby Bridgnorth for a mooch around and a ride on the Funicular.
Jess, the owner, was very friendly and approachable, as was Alan who runs forest skills and foraging courses. So much knowledge of the local landscape and we got to sample some interesting foraged delicacies!

An extra shower might have come in handy but the available number of pitches is purposefully limited by the owners, so it wasn't a problem. Might need to provide more facilities in the future if the bookings increase.

I love everything about the Wellness Woodlands! Being based in the midlands myself, this local site will now be my regular go-to. We only stayed one night, but I wish we could have stayed much longer! From standing stones, to fairy villages, story trees to excalibur - this site has everything you need to keep your imagination going. They really have thought of everything. There's a kettle in the washing up area, an indoor seated area (which made me feel like I was sat in a mead hall in some fantasy novel), trolleys are provided so that you can carry your camping equipment from the car park to your chosen pitch, etc! I highly recommend!

Nothing to dislike

Spacious pitch, close to severn valley railway. Indoor dinning room so you can be sheltered in bad weather. Kettle to make tea/coffee. We managed to get a flat pitch.

Wc/ shower facilities ok but could be better.

Everything about this site was so well thought out and just amazing. Initially I wasn’t sure what to expect with this being such a quiet site with no music allowed but wow what a nice change to our usual campsites! The spacious pitches meant the children had so much room to play football/tennis and run around as they pleased without interrupting other campers. The facilities were very clean and the communal hub is just stunning! We go camping a lot but this is my favourite site to date. We were lucky enough to visit during the back to 40s weekend (search this up as we weren’t sure what it was- there’s another one I believe in July and it’s great). We got the steam train to Bridgnorth and visited the outdoor markets and the village was also stunning. The ship inn pub just a short walk away offers lovely food and views too. We also visited the West Midlands safari park which is also a must for everyone! There is a grilling area which we found great and the fairy village is beautiful too, my daughter’s favourite. The photos do not do this site justice! Overall, cannot recommend this site enough!

Nothing at all

The owner, sooo lovely, helpful and accomodating. The peace and quiet, a Huge site with so few campers allowed at any one time, really wonderful. Clean amenities and showers. Kids play area too.

Nothing - will 100% be back!

We stayed in one of the brand new bell tents last minute as our new tent didn't arrive in time. Jess was extremely welcoming and as she was there when we arrived she showed us to the tent and where everything was, as well as how to get around the site. The tent was really spacious, secluded and had an outside kitchen and fire pit area as well as plenty of space outside for our little girl to run around. It was the perfect base for a chilled family holiday, we could even walk to the nearby SVR station (Highley) and catch a steam train. The facilities were spot on, it is a bit of a walk from the bell tent but that's the trade off for having a nice peaceful spot. We'd highly recommend a stay at Wellness Woodlands, especially in a bell tent which we believe are going live for booking imminently.

One of the best campsites we have been to! It was the perfect site to stay on with children. It was so peaceful and quiet with gorgeous views and lots of space to play. All the facilities were really clean and the owners were really friendly. My son loved the rope swing that was next to where we camped and being spotting the steam trains going past made his weekend! There are lots of little nooks to explore, statues, a little climbing frame and slide, willow tunnel, fairy ring. The washing up area even had a communal fridge, electric kettle and tea/coffee/hot chocolate/sugar provided. We only stayed one night but felt like we had been away for several days. We hired a fire pit and wood and they were really good value. We hope to be back again soon.
