Nice little quiet campsite in deep dark wales. You have to drive through a fast flowing river to get to the pitch! They had some alpacas which was cool. It's family friendly but there is not really anything for the kids to do except for look at the alpacas and amuse themselves, bigger kids could maybe paddle but the water is quite fast flowing for the little kids. Basic compost toilet and washing up station. Friendly staff!

The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The campsite was so beautiful and clean. We stayed in a bell tent in the alpaca enclosure and the bell tent was beautifully presented and clean.
Staying with the alpacas was a beautiful experience and we will definitely want to visit again.
We also went for a meal at the pub, absolutely delicious and super friendly staff. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

A gem of a campsite for all ages paired with a lovely pub for food and drinks. The hosts were very welcoming and personable, available for anything you needed. We stayed in the alpaca enclosure and really enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.

This place is a little gem. A quiet and friendly campsite along side a beautiful little river. Lots of fresh air and nature, feeding the alpacas was a fab little treat. We stayed in a 'bed in a shed' which was comfortable, warm and clean. The hospitality from the owners and their family was something rarely seen nowadays and the homemade food in the pub was delicious. Thank you Rich & Caroline

The staff were so welcoming from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and showed how to access the campsite! Our pitch was perfect size for our 6 man tunnel tent with car parked conveniently behind. The site is so peaceful with just the river sounds at night with the occasion hoot from an owl a fire pit under the blanket of stars at night which are breathtaking as so little light pollution! It really was a little bit of heaven! The compost toilet is one of the cleanest loos I’ve used while camping and having the pub and river for a dip there really is no where quite like it can’t wait to return! Also just want to add there was one night where there were some larger groups that were at risk of potentially being a bit too noisy but the staff were really quick to come and check on me and the kids both that night and the next day! There weren’t any issues thankfully but the staff made me feel very secure as a single mum with 3 kids! Can not fault them thanks for a super few day!

Omg this site is amazing as soon as we got there we were shown straight to our otter cabin.The couch bed and double bed were made, little fridge and kettle, We parked in the carpark just across the river but could pull up at the pub and unload .. The kids were straight to playing in the river … walking up to see the alpaca area with bell tents which we will be doing next time because we will definitely stay again,The owners are non stop cooking, cleaning , checking people in, making sure everyone is happy and safe ,food in the pub was lovely ,compost toilets really clean and well kept along with the sink area really cannot fault this site ..Thank you so much for our welcoming stay x

Not that we disliked it and we knew there wasn’t one .. But the only thing that’s missing is a shower 🥹even if it was a cold one just to rinse off after a dip in the river or freshen up in the morning..We managed with a two night stay but any longer without a shower would put us off but thanks again x

This a beautifully clean and tidy site in a wonderful location kept by a friendly and helpful couple. The pub at the site serves tasty food and has an amazing view from the beer garden. We would definitely recommend a trip here and will certainly go again ourselves. Alpacas are very cute :-)
