We stayed for one night in Poppys bell tent, and it was absolutely lovely! On arrival a member of staff took us down and shown us where everything was on site, they also booked us a table at the pub for our tea.
The children especially enjoyed feeding the alpacas, sheep and chickens.

Bike packing with a small tent. Very welcoming. Lovely hosts running a good pub. Site, by the river, is very picturesque. Had a cooling swim after many hours on the bike. Good food. Several different glamping options.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time! The views were absolutely stunning, and the whole site was incredibly pretty and peaceful. The owners were lovely and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway in nature!

The owner was very warm and welcoming. The campsite is very basic, with no shower facilities, but it is fine for a short stay. Daughter loved feeding the Alpacas, and great to have a pub on site.

Unfortunately, we visited in April and the days were fine, but the nights the temperature dropped to zero degrees. Inside the tents was extremely cold, and the quilts provided were not warm enough, and even with extra sleeping bags (our own) on top, it was freezing, and none of us had a good sleep. Some of the mattresses the beds were extremely thin and not suitable for adults.

Very unique site which is stunning. Well maintained, fantastic pub and lovely friendly owners! Great walks around the area too. Would definitely stay again!

First time camping here. We absolutely loved it. It was so peaceful the weather was amazing for camping. perfect if you just want to chill out for the weekend

No music just the sound of a running river in front of the of us and the pub was right next to us it was busy but not noisy, you could have a drink sit outside and the views were so nice.

It was my partners first time camping even the thought of no showers and a compost toilet at night when the pub was closed didn't even put her off she loved it that much she booked again

The campsite was clean the owners were super friendly they even walk by a few times to say hello .

We stayed in the bell tent in the alpaca enclosure. My son, age 8, absolutely loved it! We walked through the forest and there were facts about alpacas hidden on the trees. He played in the stream and we had a fire in the evening.
We had a meal in the pub. The food was lovely and the hosts were really welcoming and friendly.
The facilities were clean and the bell tent we stayed in was comfortable and beautifully presented.
My son fed the alpacas and there were some other activities available, such as alpaca walks and meeting other animals. we didn’t do this, but it wasn’t expensive.
We had a lovely stay and will return.

Nothing is too much trouble and we are always made to feel so welcome by the lovely hosts. We've stayed here a few times, a wonderful cosy stay in and the chance to really switch off and just connect with the great outdoors. The kids love it but so do we too, so peaceful and beautiful, a really rare find. We always love coming here and make the best memories. Stayed in the Kingfisher cabin this time and it was wonderful, a great space for the 4 of us and you'd easily fit more in comfortably. We still got to see and feed the animals and our favourite alpacas who are dearly loved by our children. We'll definitely be back, this is our most favourite campsite ever!
