What a lovely weekend we have had. Staff lovely, cute little shop which is very handy. Honesty box inside or you can pay by scanning the barcode which I did mainly. We went in non electric and got a good spot. Kids loved this campsite as a lot of animals to see.

Could maybe do with some hooks in the showers rooms to hang towels and clothes when showering. I just had to use the handle on the window. I didn’t want my stuff on the floor as shower cubicle leaks a lot of water out. And I didn’t want it sat on a public toilet.

Huge variety of things to do onsite for kids (and me!) the snack bar was amazing and good selection in shop in case you forgot anything which I did. Really friendly and helpful staff.

Had a fantastic time, loved the site and the owners were so friendly. The whole place is set up perfectly for young children and families; it all felt so safe. Showers and toilet facilities were provided and clean, and there were microwaves and laundry facilities for everyone’s use. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Where do we start!! Firstly and most importantly the owners josie and Ian and extended family members (additional staff, but they treat them as family) alicia and dan work extremely hard here and it definately doesn't go unnoticed, there's not a minute in the day where you don't see them all working their socks off and for just a team of 4 with all they do regarding the workload is just amazing!! We've stayed many times before and it only takes one time to visit to feel right at home. The friendly but professional presence you receive throughout your stay is what keeps you returning. The constant efforts and trying to upgrade areas to better everyone's stay/experience just goes to show they've always got everyone else's best interest at heart. We love the fact that every animal you come across is a rescue. The animals are very well looked after and are extremely friendly and love to interact and greet you at the gates, I'd go as far as saying they get quite giddy and excited. The bar/cafe area is just fab, very reasonably priced and a lovely little area to have a drink whilst the kiddies are playing at the kids play area, which is a safe space for the kiddies to enjoy also.
Den building is a nice little hideaway and a good bit of family bonding time too, who doesn't love getting competitive and building the best den possible haha and coming out of the woods filthy!! Which leads me to mention the showers, one of theeee best showers we've had. It's lovely and hot and you don't have to press a button to restart it every 30 seconds like in most sites!!
The toilet/wash facilities are lovely and clean too, josie jet washes them all at least twice a day and are always stocked with toilet paper!!
The facilities where you clean your pots and pans are always cleaned daily too but I've witnessed users not cleaning up after themselves and leaving a bit of a mess so that's not down to anybody else to clean but us who are using it. It gets a little dusty in these areas but what do you expect when your basically staying on a working farm.
This site is a little gem xxxxxx

Nothing to dislike. If you know you're staying on a working farm then you can't be disappointed about anything

We returned to sunflower park for a 5 night stay in the non electric pitches. My children (12 &13 yrs) always request to go back and call it their happy place! This was our 4th visit.
We enjoyed feeding the animals each day, going for walks and just spending time as a family with plenty of room for ball games and badminton.
The toilet facilities are cleaned daily. The honesty shop has all the essentials needed including delicious ice cream!

Really friendly site, ideal for families, the cafe area serving food and drinks a real bonus. Woods all round so ideal for dogs. Lastly the electric pitches were large

Unless there were facilities I didn’t see, there were 4 toilets, 2 of which had a shower which in my opinion was not enough, as a result they were used constantly in use and weren’t great, I would say the facilities were the worst we have had camping but equally I must add that it was half term, the site was busy and most tents understandably had children meaning there were lots of people there which likely impacted on this

Beautiful environment and friendly owners. I really enjoyed our stay kids did too. Was nice to see how they cared about rescue animals. Beautiful walking areas. Dogs enjoyed it too. Shop and cafe was very handy on the site and prices and quality was reasonable and nice quality.

Toilets could have been cleaner however it is a basic campsite and probably some guest left it untidy not owner faults.
