Loved this quaint campsite. Owners and staff really polite and attentive. Beautiful setting, the pond sounds like a river with amazing forest surrounding it.
I loved seeing the rescue animals and the staff are so caring and attentive. My 2 young children were so sad to leave they'd been able to get up close to so many types of animals. They also loved the children's play park.
Cooked breakfasts were good quality and the bar on an evening was well stocked with local drinks and ice slush drinks for the children.

We didn't put up our awning as the ground was uneven and sandy. The owners are trying to level out the camping areas and given that it is a farm it's natural to be uneven. I would recommend a mat for outside the doorways to keep it clean

The bugs were out in force at dusk we had an electric bat and 2 bug lights. It's because of the weather and the pond so I'd recommend citronella candles.

Always a pleasure coming here. The animals are clearly well loved and every year their facilities improve and expand and the new staff are clearly very animal led. I was happy to spend money on site as its clear its all reinvested into the animals and their welfare and the prices well they have gone up slightly (hasnt everything though) are still fair and not marked up.

Cafe and on site shop on still 👌 my daughter was raving about her daily breakfasts. Working in SEN myself its wonderful to see families with children and young adults with additonal needs having a safe space and the setup allows for that.

Park always a good way to keep kids busy and we loved the woodlands walk.

A slight drinking culture. Understand it can depend on the people there and the weather but some campers were drinking from early morning and by the afternoon there was a tension, particularly when children were clearly not been supervised well enough. There was some poor behaviour at times and awful language in the communal facilities, particularly when people had a drink. Just put a dampner on and would probably put me off peak summer again.

Pitches were really sandy and unlevel this time but understand its end of season so i'd imagine they'll improve. It did contribute to the shower issues mentioned so maybe a sign on the door asking people to clean there shoes first.

Just about everything!! Lovely campsite! Perfect for small children - we didn’t leave the campsite!! My daughter absolutely loved the Al pacas, donkeys, pigs and the small animal area! The park is also excellent. The facilities are great too, I found the washing machine, microwave and freezer very handy!!

I wasn’t sure if we could pitch anywhere when we arrived and couldn’t see where to ask. One member of staff was very rude to me right at the end of our trip also which is a shame as everyone else was so lovely!!

The owners were brilliant, the site is amazing for children of all ages. Showers clean and always kept tidy. Definitely would recommend and return

After visiting for an afternoon with my children I encouraged my father and husband to camp with my 2 eldest sons. They really enjoyed the facilities,the small bar, the boys loved the park and football field and everything well managed. Would definitely stay and visit again x

Relaxed atmosphere with lots of nice interesting animals.
Quiet at night even in busy school hols.
Little shop and cafe on site with bar very handy.
Lovely owners and staff very helpful and worked very hard.
I booked for two nights but then extended my stay two more as enjoyed it so much.
Showers red hot loads of water. Take flip flops though as floor gets wet outside showers.
Ice pack freezing and washing machine available.
Water and chemical waste disposal all readily available.

Shower drainage not the best left floors very wet best taking flip flops and towel robe for after.

Another amazing stay at Sunflower Park! Our 3rd stay and certainly not our last! Lovely to meet new staff members we haven't met before! Lovely clean, tidy and welcoming pitch and facilities as usual 😊 Thank you to Josie, Ian and the team, we will see you soon!

Just had an amazing 4 night stay here at Sunflower Park with my 9 year old daughter whom is non verbal outside the family home, she has a natural love for all things living so this place was just perfect for her. Ian and Josie are so friendly and welcoming ( even though I asked thousands of questions on behalf of my daughter which must have been annoying they were answered)
The animals are well looked after and it’s clear to see they are all very much loved, Alicia whom works there and feeds the animals beams with affection and pure love cuddling and loving all the animals calling them all by their name ( there is a lot)
The facilities are fab, toilets and showers with plentiful of hot water, laundry, microwave and freezer with I used to cook drinks quickly and iced yoghurts.
There’s a lovely souvenir shop ( my daughter got a t-shirt ) a shop for essentials and children’s bits that runs on trust, a bar and snack bar serving hot food was an added bonus.
Brilliant park, football pitch and designated area for dogs, a beautiful picnic area around the lake I could go on and on about this amazing place but for me to see my daughters face light up around the animals and her verbally calling the animals by name was priceless, I’ve never heard her voice so much along with so much laughter, cannot wait to take her again she’s missing the animals especially Tilly the sheep

Nothing to dislike about the site or staff but I witnessed a few unruly children being cruel to the animals 2 in particular hitting the geese with a stick obviously i intervened. If parents can’t control their children and allow such behaviour im sure there will be significant injury to 1 of these animals.
