Awful attitude on the lady who runs the place also not well staffed the first night we stayed there was no food for dinner as she was too busy checking people in so if you didn't bring food you would have had to wait until 8pm. The bin situation was not explained ie no nappies in the bins and we were told we had to take ours home with us
Due to a road traffic accidents on the motorway and on the A55 the main route into Wales many of the campers were late checking in and we were unable to open the catering van until 7.30 and stayed open until 9.30 most campers were happy with the explanation for our late opening or ordered food on the app's for local outlets if they needed to. We also had staff of ill and the situation was explained.
We were not asked about Nappy disposal ! and the bins recycling is on the email confirmation from our site, also on the information sheet given to all campers with a site map on arrival & on the recycling bin so I don't know how you didn't know plus non one asked? if you had we could have accommodated you!
Some camper don't wish to sort their own rubbish into the correct bins and they are asked if it to much trouble please take the rubbish home and I don't think it fare to expect staff to sort through peoples rubbish for the Wales recycling scheme with fine for the campsite that raises funds for pet rescue to pay the council. From your extended family group we have had bad reviews from all 3 of your booking but not one of your group complained in person.

The main reason I wont be coming back is how abrupt and snotty the woman is that runs the place unfortunately. I thought she was abit strange on the phone considering she is running the place but as I came to realise when I stayed there she was not a very nice person at all. Attitude was disgusting.

As part of the large extended family group your review is totally unfair. No one asked about diabetic food and surely if you go camping and need a special diet you would ask on booking or take the supplies you need with you (and I did have porridge for your grandad not many site stock that). Strange on the phone sounds like a bad connection or you were on speaker phone at our end while we deal with enquiries. Shame none of your group came to complain or speak to us in person.
Giving your self one star for accommodation when its your own tent is a little strange?
Value for money we are one of the most economically priced sites in the area with free showers, hot pot wash area, But sadly we cant please everyone all the time.

We took the portaloo's out of site 2 as campers prefer the 2 large flushing toilet units at a cost of £5000.00 each block but site 2 is a non electric site and flushing loo's need electric & we have toilets to hire for on pitches if camper wish to (notice in reception) perhaps when you come again it's worth considering, earlier booking is advisable and site 1 has 7 tent pitches that may have suited you better but they fill very early.

As for the toilets ceilings we are in the country and spider do live here plus if camper leave the doors open all night migies fly in. (ps why were you lay on the floor looking at the ceiling :) in the loo, most people sit down) you are after all on a country side campsite

The freezer is only for the bell tents. It would be great for campers to be able to freeze their ice blocks too.
The freezer communal if you had asking in reception they would have informed you. The washing up area has been updated but sadly not all campers clean the area after using them, we have now had severely dish drainers broken along with the tiles.
But in fairness the facility are all free including the hot water and showers which campers are always happy with. We are pleased you would stay on our site again
